    What does Larry L have to do with batting two slugs like Ellsbury and Gomes at the top of the order so that Papi has a good chance of leading off the second inning? I don't care who is making the lineup, but any lineup with 1 or 2 slugs batting at the top forcing Papi to the 4th slot is just a bad lineup.

    Not really. For a trade to get vetoed, it has to be either completely one-sided and/or it has to unfairly impact the competitive balance of the league. This trade is neither. If Segura finishes close to Trout in points my point will be vindicated that the trade was imbalanced. It won't matter if I lose the bet to Pal. He's a good guy, but I disagree with him on the issue. I proposed the wager to keep attention on this. As for UN, I'll give him some of the action on the bet, but the terms would be different for him. Trout had 643 points last year. What would constitute a lopsided trade 10% difference, 15% difference? A player with 10% less points would have 579 points. Only 10 hitters had more points than that in 2012. Trading players in the top 10 is not a lopsided. 15% less points would be 547 points. Only 18 hitters reached that level. Let that blowhard UN put his money where his mouth is. Let him take the Segura vs Trout bet and since he is convinced it is lopsided he should spot me 15%. He'll never go for it, because he is nothing but a blowhard.

    People have expressed their opinions. I offered to rescind the trade. I offered alternative trades if the trade got vetoed or if he wanted to rescind the trade. My offers still stand. My friend knows that I will not bear ill will against him if we rescind and go forth with the alternative. So, how am I taking advantage of anyone? Under the alternative, I get to keep Segura and I would get Trout.

    The trade with Pal for Papi will help my team more than the alleged lopsided trade, because it will give my team more balance. My top 3 hitters are CarGo, Papi and Trout. On the pitching side, I have Verlander, Harvey, Lee, and Greinke. Closers are Kimbrel and Chapman. I'll ride with that.

    Not really. iortiz and I have been negotiating a trade for some time. This is what we came up with. The fact that it pissed off UN just added to the fun.

    My friend knew that he could cancel the trade at any time. If he wants to reverse the trade, i would gladly do so. He and i this year and last year have been neck and neck in the standings. He is a very good Fantasy manager and a very smart guy, so why would he let me take advantage of him with a lopsided trade? You are just ridiculous.

Only points earned beginning May 20th until the end of the regular season count. Trout 29 Runs 29 RBI 8 SB 91 TB Total Pts. 157 Segura 25 Runs 20 RBI 14 SB 94 TB Total Pts. 153 Please double check these figures.
