It was deceptive. The ball did have some hang time. If the runners got a good jump, I thought they would have been further along by the time Brown got to the ball. Once it bounced toward the stands, I was just hoping for a fan to touch it.

With 2 out and the runners going on contacts, I was very surprised that we didn't score the tying run. Gomes has the reputation of being a good base runner.

Rubby had a good outing yesterday pitching 4 innings giving up run on 2 hits. It was his first outing in 11 days. Does anyone know why he got skipped.

Duda is up with a RISP. He stinks in these situations. He has 9 HRs and 16 RBI, but he gets the walk off tonight. Three batters three straight hits and Mo blows the save and lose the game.
