  1. I challenged you the other day to find a single post where I attacked a poster personally for his/her sports opinion. You do it all the time to numerous posters. Go get medicated maybe the doc can find something to make you act human.
  2. The ratio of insult to good points is about 10 to 1.
  3. So what? He likes Papelbon. He was the best closer in team history, and he just closed us out. Where's the offense? You seriously need shock therapy.
  4. Because he doesn't know how to behave in a civil society. he wouldn't be half as annoying if he had some intellect to back up his nastiness, but he is a dolt and an ignoramus-- obnoxious and stupid-- a disgusting combination.
  5. ^As usual, totally overboard and out of line in response to a baseball opinion. Seriously, you shouldn't be tolerated. You don't know how to behave like a human.
  6. Tonight the Yanks fave Matt Harvey. He is everything that So fans could hope for from just one of our pitching prospects. Sox fans should watch this kid tonight.
  7. I remember that game. As Eck would say, he was Jurjens was serving up some soft serve that game.
  8. Marcum had 12 k's in 7 innings against the Braves tonight.
  9. Headley has come into his own and is a young star in his prime. Even we don't know what Middlebrooks will become. He had a good half season last year and we got all excited. I have seen that many times before and the players never lived up to the hype afterward. I hope it is different with Middlebrooks. I was convinced it would be different, but I was also convince that Sam Horn would hit 50 HRs for us in one year and be a great Sox Slugger. He turned out to be nothing more that a name of a Sport Talk forum for boring statheads. very disappointing.
  10. Gomes and Drew would bring back very little-- an A ball reliever. Dempster at $13 million for next season will probably bring nothing but some salary relief. Most contenders have a first baseman that can swing a pretty good stick, so I don't see naps bringing in more that a middle reliever. Doubront could have some value being young and lefty with a lot of k's, but he's not going to bring in a major piece. Victorino, if he can stay healthy, could bring back some decent value.
  11. Whining is what we do best. There is always an excuse or an explanation when we suck, and we always over-rate our team when it is doing well. Both of our teams have been fortunate that Tampa's pen has turned to s*** and blown so many games in the late innings and that David Price has been terrible.
  12. ... and the starters need to go deep enough into games so the good bullpen guys don't get gassed and the weak links don't get exposed.
  13. Hockey is such a suck ass sport that it is the only major sport without a National Network TV contract. No one watches it and no one cares.
  14. He has 2 HRs in 87 ABs-- far below the power production expected when he signed. Without the occasional HR, he is pretty useless for 2yrs/$10 million.
  15. Rodney is blowing up again. He's doing his best to hand the Yanks today's game.
  16. Not today. We won.
  17. "Beach ball with a light pole"
  18. Kaz got Papi on the slider. That used to be his signature pitch.
  19. Buchholz is starting to emerge as our ace. Lester is much more consistent than last season, but Buchholz has been our best.
  20. 7 errors by Ciriaco this year. That is pretty bad. He was much better last season.
  21. Nice play by Gomes. I didn't think he charged the ball fast enough to have a chance.
  22. I prefer Cranberry juice.
  23. Never in response to sports opinion. Never. So, f*** off.
  24. The guy used to have a nasty slider before his arm problems. I don't remember if he had arm surgery, but he is still young and reports were that he got his velocity back. If he can still throw the slider, he could still have a career.
