    He has performed as most people had hopede he would. The AL and ALE has not caused him to implode as some had feared. A mid 4 ERA and 200 innings would be very helpful to this teams chances.

    The foundation of the Red Sox staff is Lester and Buchholz IMO.

    Yes, I do think that they pitching is starting to crack and crumble, emphasis on "starting to." Lester has turned into a pumpkin, and I don't think it will get much better. Buchholz is on the DL. We have to hope that whatever this injury is that it doesn't linger. Without those two guys anchoring the top of the rotation, the pitching staff will be tremendously stressed and the pen will get overused and burn out. Morales is in the midst of a lost season. Bailey was a waste. Hanrahan made a guest appearance. Yes, if you look at the staff with a critical eye, the cracks are quite noticeable. Lackey is holding up his end, and we will need him to continue to do so. Doubront will have to stay strong too.

    Fred, don't get too worked up. You let them get your hopes up. I am just enjoying them being competitive after last year's trainwreck, but I don't have any big expectations of this team. The foundation of the pitching staff is starting to crack and crumble.

    Morales is reportedly getting an MRI and is expected to be DL'd again with shoulder problems. The bullpen is disintegrating rapidly. Morales was also supposed to be a depth option for starting. Right now, the only good depth option is Aceves.

    Really. You call me a cheater and say that my team is still not a threat, but when a wager is proposed to make things interesting, you ran and hid. You should have hid. My team was cleaning your clock all week. You are lucky that my closers s*** themsleves on Saturday or you would have won only a single category. In Fantasy leagues that is called trash talk or smack talk. I would have thought you would have heard of it especially since you are such a big time fantasy sportswriter. Anyway, you can probably get something over the counter for your burning rectum. I'm not sure there is anything over the counter for your anger issues.

    A DL stint is the only way to get him back to the minors for a rehab stint. His out pitch is the slider which he has abandoned completely. Scott Kazmir did the same thing a few years back because his arm couldn't stand the strain. I think it is a chronic problem with Bailey. He always had elbow issues and forearm tightness. His arm being shot was not a long shot bet. It was fairly probable.

    I think Segura has a pretty good chance of heading to the All Star game. How I improved my team was by picking up a likely All Star SS like Segura and a likely All Star OFer like Dominic Brown off the waiver wire while you slept. I atr your lunch on those pickups not to mention drafting Harvey. Your ass must be burning over those pickups.

    Still a jerk. This cheater is chasing you down. Get ready to be passed possibly by 2 or 3 teams. Also, if you haven't noticed, Trout has not exactly been on fire. I got him after he hit for the cycle. I am pretty sure that Iortiz improved more at SS than I did in the OF. You do realize that we have to play a SS don't you? I probably got a bigger OF boost when I picked up Dominic Brown off waivers. He was crazy hot when I picked him up. You missed out on that one too. Kendrick had a rough couple of starts but he is back on track getting Quality Starts and his ERA is good too. I hope that we both pass your miserable ass.

    Dipre is lucky that he wanted no part of a side wager. Since the trade that he bitterly opposed as one-sided and unfair, me and iortriz have improved from 6th and 7 in the standings to 3rd and 4th. The trade has helped both teams. The trade with Pal for David Ortiz is the trade that really gave my offense a shot in the arm.

    I missed today's game, but the pen seems to need some help. Bailey has turned into last seasons Heath Bell. 4 games in the loss column separate the entire division.
