    That's just not true.

Where did you come up with 10 appearances. How about this one? If he pitches for a major league team to an entire season without going on the DL, I'll give you $200 and if not I get $100. The guy's career is toast. I hope that he saved his money.

Lyon bombed out of the Mets bull pen of fire starters.

Rubby has had another atrocious start. He has been pretty bad in his last 3 starts. Two of them were disastrous. His ERA is at 3.90after tonight. Webster's first start at AAA since being optioned back was a bomb too. And to boot Middlebrooks is not finding himself either. The help we need this season will not be coming from our own system.

    What a joke!

Seriously, what is the point of this^? Talk about throwing s*** at the wall and hoping it will stick.
  7. a700hitter
He's done. We are more likely to see him pumping gas at a gas station than on a mound.

Wow, they have just had one failed attempt after another filling the closer spot. Hopefully, they hit gold with Uehara for this season. Bailey was damaged goods before we got him. The fianl verdict on this trade goes to the A's. At least they got one good season out of Reddick. We got nothing out of Beetle Bailey.

    Check and check.

Doubs has pitched some of his best games against the Yanks. Hopefully, we batter Pettitte closer to retirement.

I am not advocating for Ben to get Young, but if he does, I wouldn't have a big problem with it. He's definitely an upgrade over Drew with the bat.

Drew is stinking up the place with his bat. I think Young would do much better. I'd slide Iggy to SS (an upgrade defensively) and bench Drew. I think it would be an upgrade offensively also.

I found this with a little more information. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1709194-clay-buchholz-injury-setback-underscores-red-sox-biggest-trade-deadline-need and this http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/9490303/clay-buchholz-boston-red-sox-scratches-bullpen-session-due-lingering-soreness

I just found the blurb that I quoted on CBS Sportsline Fantasy. It's short, but it doesn't sound encouraging.

It's worse than just not throwing. he needs to be examined again.
  16. a700hitter
    Thanks!

Young is real pro. He's a tough out, and he'll do a representative job anywhere in the infield. You'll never see him shotput a throw into RF on a ball that should have ended a game. If the Phillies are looking to dump him cheap, we could do a lot worse.

It looks like Lars has come to the end of the road.
  19. a700hitter
He's in the top hundred, but his progression has hit a big road bump.
  20. a700hitter
Yep, I think you did it right in your signature. LOL!!!
  21. a700hitter
You threw him under the bus big time. You have no bragging rights on this one.
  22. a700hitter
Did you read or hear this from a media source?
  23. a700hitter
A waste of time. After the top 10, put them in a bowl and pick out names.
  24. a700hitter
    Try to keep up.
