  1. When we play the Jays next weekend, Reyes will be back in the Jays lineup. He tore us to shreds the last time we faced him.
  2. I don't think anyone was going to send a collection agent to your house, but your buds will throw it up to you for as long as people remember. It's just part of the deal.
  3. I am surprised that it has taken this long for the need for a starter to arise.
  4. Just pay everyone's MLB TV subscription.
  5. Even if the Jays are out of the playoff hunt at the end, I think that they will play a role as a spoiler.
  6. I wouldn't count them out. I think they will have something to do with this race until the end.
  7. Jays have won 9 in a row.
  8. Yeah, it's a tough call. It's like we have a #1, a #3 and three #5's
  9. Sorry if I caused any misunderstanding, but i was talking about Nava. He looked hurt to me in his last AB.
  10. Lester's ERA is just ballooning. He's at 4.57 after tonight's performance. I view him as our #4 or 5 starter at this point with Dempster. Buch, Lackey and Doubront are the top 3.
  11. He looked like he was hurt after one of those swings. He bent over and straightened up real slow.
  12. He's just very very slow.
  13. Put together a package deal for Lee and Papelbon.
  14. I am starting to realize that what we thought was a rebound by Lester in April and the first half of May was a mirage. He is what he was last year.
  15. Rookie mistake by Napoli.
  16. Prodded him as in "Jon throw f***ing strikes!"
  17. The Sox need to start running the internal guys to the hill immediately for their closer auditions. First up will probably be Taz. As I said yesterday, he has good command of his fastball and secondary pitches. I don't think he has much movement on his FB which I don't think is very overpowering, unless in short stints he can find a few extra mphs. I think he could hold down the job, but he will not be a lock down closer. I don't think he has that stuff to be a lock down closer. Miller has the stuff to be a lock down guy, but he doesn't have the command. They need to figure out what they have internally in the next couple of weeks.
  18. It so much more fun to troll when you misrepresent and misconstrue what others say.
  19. The attempts by some to diminish Papelbon's accomplishments and value are just absurd. Don't forget that Mo got taken deep and lost the deciding 5th game against the Guardians in 1997. Boy, he really sucks.
  20. It was widely known that Jenks was signed as closer insurance when Paps walked.
  21. I like most of this, but why would you DL Bailey? How can he work out his issues from the DL? Why not let him pitch in low leverage situations?
  22. I really admire Tim Duncan, who IMO is the most underrated great player in history. He is a Hall of Famer who has had almost no fanfare in his career. Winning another championship would have topped off his brilliant career.
  23. The Spurs blew their chance several times in game 6. IMO tonight's game was a foregone conclusion.
  24. He is being dropped tonight from tens of thousands of Fantasy rosters tonight.
  25. Toronto is only 5 games down in the loss column.
