Don Baylor, hitting coach for the Angels broke his leg catching a ceremonial first pitch from Vlad Guerrero on Opening Day. It was sad to see him getting helped to his feet and then buckling after getting up. As a player, Baylor's physique seemed as if it were carved out of granite. He was such a strong guy, and he was tough too. One of his specialties was getting hit by pitches. He would take the opposing pitcher's best heat off any part of his body without the slightest of a wince or flinch. You almost felt sorry for the baseball. It was sad to see him looking old, hurt and very mortal.

This really surprised me. He gave up 0 earned runs in 8 outings. I thought he was pitching very well and that he would have been a great late inning option.

I would go to a game at any ballpark. LOL!! I have been to the Coliseum. I got first bae box seats and I was shocked at how far I was from the action. At the Giants ballpark, you are closer in the upper deck and they have the same fries!

If the Cubs kept a few of their first round picks like Josh Donaldson and Andrew Cashner, maybe they wouldn't be sucking it so hard.

He blew a first round pick. It is never a good thing to blow your firsdt pick. Other guys were picked after Vitek that made or will make the majors. Christian Yellich would have been nice. Overall, it might have been a good draft, but blowing your first pick is still a black mark.

Baseline seats at the Coliseum are not close to the action at all. Bleacher seats at Fenway are closer to the game.

He was clueless on how to stop the bleeding. If anything, he contributed to the debacle. I love Tito, but he was a big part of the problem that season. He was never a goodgame tactician, but in 2011 he lost the clubhouse too.

Of the pitchers in the list only Greinke and Johan left their team, and only one since 2008. The trend has been for teams to lock these guys down and keep them from leaving.
