  1. Hopefully the eind will add some extra dance to that knuckleball, so even if he rolls it he won't get punished for it.
  2. I predict Wake will come up big like he has all season and lift the sox when their down. I prefer it be tight late in the game and we win a late inning game off of papi's bat, giving us momentum for tomorow's game.
  3. I'm pretty sure manny started the season in the 3rd spot. Also he is not the one who has carried us, it's been Ortiz. Back when Vlad and Manny were in the MVP race, they both kinda went on power cold streaks, i remember Manny was stuck at 30-39 HRs for a while. Then Ortiz started hittin 7th inning and on HRs and really showed his clutch hitting, hence getting him more votes then Manny.
  4. You could tell how sorry Graffy was too, his face shows a lot of emotion, and you could see the "s*** s*** s***" expression on his face, I still love the guy, hes like a Nixon or Varitek type player, the play hard, no excuses type. If blowin a game is gunna happen it should happen to this guy
  5. I don;t understand what you mean, are you sayin he can control when a deal is done? as in what?
  6. I think this was year was just a fluke, and fenway park wold probably be good for him. if he does bad he'll get boo'ed and maybe itll wake him up, not to mention he has hit for a high average at Fenway I think.
  7. They won because Small and Chacon went 17-3 not because of ARod, we're lookin for most valuable
  8. I somewhat agree, not happy he did. The roid thing is really gettin me, he's shown a lot of evidence that he's back on it. I doubt he re-did his swing or is working out again, the excessive sweating and bigger body are buggin me. If he's not takin roids though then I cant think of anyone who deserves it more. Maybe Millar can win it next year, if we keep him.
  9. i think the mets will push hard for him. I think the Sox should at leats get a verbal agreement w/ Konerko/Huff before even thinking about trading Manny. We need back-up for Ortiz.
  10. Yeah, like a 2 win difference, idk how Zito won it. Th elook on Pedro's face at the press-conference after Zito won said it all.
  11. LOL, Pedro was so pissed after that happened.
  12. My bad... and btw, i agree with the mets probably not tradin Beltran, just lickin my lips at the thought, that would be an offense w/ absolutely no holes. And also a much improved defense.
  13. Mariano is way more vauable to the Yanks then Colon to the Angels, however this isn't the MVP award, so I say Colon.
  14. I think it'd be a terrible move to let Miller go uless he has surgery, and I'm not sure the Sox would like anything from the Mets, I'd hate to have Cameron/Floyd in LF, though I wouldn't mind Beltran. Beltran and Traschel has big upside for us and if we sign Konerko/Huff we'll have an even better team next year. Then we could re-sign Damon also. 1) Damon 2) Renteria 3) Ortiz 4) Beltran 5) Konerko 6) Nixon 7) Varitek 8) Youkilis 9) Graffanino/Ramirez
  15. Wells did great last night, definately not his fault, I'd give him another shot at a win in game 5. Also, didn't Arroyo give up like 5 runs against the W. Sox in Chicago? i think he lost the 4th game in that series.
  16. As long as we replace him with someone good and sign Konerko/Huff for 1b I'm fine with it.
  17. He's the man lol, that guy was like Manny with even less hustle.
  18. s***, right when i say our defense is flwless they blow the lead.
  19. I'm likin the defense in this game, on both sides, Rowand is one of my favorite players, it's good to se him showin off in CF. Wells still strong so far, good thing th defense is good or it would be a bit tighter.
  20. He's in such good shape he could go for a few more years and beyond, he hasn't lost anything really over the years and had a microscopic ERA earlier this year. It's all up to him tho
  21. ARod didn't really impress much in the Fenway series, especially w/ that error in the 1st game. Papi deff got more attention when he started winning games consitently with his late inning heroics. People seem to not look at "Most Valuable" but rather best stats. Maybe ARod had a better average and all but if you took him out of the Yankess lineup for this season, maybe they lose 2-3 extra games. if you took away Papi we're about 5 back at least.
  22. Jaws is the man, he's my fav, though i dont mind Salisbruy. A Lot of the analysts choose the popular teams like the Colts last year, almost everyone chose them over the Pats. This year its Atlanta or carolina.
