Well, 1- I don't see Embree getting in the game tonight, maybe Sat., but I don't think today, Becuase I think If we ned someone to put in for Small it'll be Sturtz. 2-Its not like he Garunteed Ortiz to be out on 3 pitches, I think hes said what he said because everyone expects Ortiz to hit a home run everytime hes at bat, and Embrees trying to say like Hey look, I been up agenst this guy before, and I did my job, don't count me out just yet kinda thing. 3-I'm not sure what to take of Bellhorns cold shoulder or anything like that, but David Wells was the same way tward the Yankees when he left, and I still got nothing but love for him, he did his part in New York, we wouldn't resign him, so he went to the Red Sox, and if he had something to say about the team and the fans, fine, I understand. but I'm not going to make fun of the man just because he doesn't like my team anymore

Exactly, I know we need to win, but I'd rather have Sheff hit a homer vs the Sox than Worsen his injury and be on the DL or anything like that

If you got MLB TV at MLB.com, I'm about 75% sure you can find it, they got highlights from ever WorldSeries, AllStar game, everything. I don't have it but I even saw one for like a sac bunt that happened in the 3rd inning of a game and is conciderd the first ever. good win by the Yankees. I'm not going to to give them too much credit cuz its only the D-rays, but based on how we've played agenst them, its a good win. Matsui has got to be one of the best "unsung hero" player I've known of, bvecuase he gets the big hits, but not the ones people see, the homer and the double tonight were great, but were shadowed by Giambis Homer.

I agree with every single one he said excpet Bill will lose I think and with the first game loss, yea I remember that Bills one, I'm just say because a lot of people put the Patriots down because of all their losses, and if they were to start off with a loss, it could be a huge killer

Heres the Way I have to look at it, there was a point when the Yankees were 9 games out of 1st, and 9 games under .500, 11-20 at that point they went on a 10 game winning streak to et to 21-20, we dipped back under a few times, but now are a lot over. When I think about that, It doesn't worry me much, cuz I nopw what were capable of, and how we can find ways of winning And for some reason we can only win games Small, Chacon, Wright pitch??!

Yea, I must admit I have a problem with getting offtopic fast, like(in the Schilling one) people were talking about how Schilling was doing in his newest start, and I started talking about Willis Reed. And I'll admit that was stupid, same with the into thread of mine, I dragged that on too long. I'll try really hard to understand the topic and stick to it. I also think thats the reason a lotta threads drag on. Some onw will start a thread, I'll go to eat lunch, get back and its already 4 pages long. Though I don't mind reading, I thin it can be a hassle for some. SO I apologize for my mistakes my first day, and I'll straighten up my posting.

I think more needs to be looked at if we can be 4-10 vs the D-Rays and only be 4 out of first..Hmmmm To tell you the truth, I'm not worried, should I be, yes, but I am not. I don't really have reasons not to be, but I'm not, and I'm sure my reasons will surface in about 2 weeks and an 87 year dynasty, lol, I'll take that, it'll be back in a year or so

Finally, Wangs back and I hope hes ready, does anyone know if he made any rehab starts at all. Either way, I think he'll be ready

Riverside sluggers, where do you find those batting vs pitcher matchups, I like those And I'm very happy to read Wang off the DL, he was a nice surprise just like Small And lets see how our"best" pitcher does vs the team were worst agenst

If those are them, then those are going to be some great games Wells has an advantage over Small, but Samll has still come in huge for us(6-0) I'm not sure where to lean in the next one, Chacon has been great last start, but the one before it wasn't anything great, and Schilling could be great if he finds his stuff Wakefield, I'm not really sure of what his numbers are, someone will need to fill me in on that, but Johnsons been great latley I'm excited for these games

So we were both wrong By not saying anything bad about Schilling, I meant exactly what YanksRule said "Shillings a fat ass, looks for attention" stuff like that, I didn't say anything like that, and since the topic of Schillings sock and his play of the ALCS came up(not by me may I add) It reminded me of a special I saw on TV. ESPN did a top 10 of the greatest moments with an injury, and Schilling was in front of Willis Reed(who it was, idk what you mean by me getting the name wrong). Which upset me, Schilling was schedualed to play those games, and Reed took it upon himself to go out there and play to push his team to a vistory. Schilling just pitched in a game he was supposed to, shut us down, and let his team do the rest. But just because I said some peolpe think and noone brought it up doesn't mean that no one ever thought about it, half the people here probably don't even know what I'm talking about with Willis Reed. And maybe it was my fault because I picked a New York team player, and stuff like that. But I will admit I took this too far off topic, but I just joined and all these things have been in my head since October, so I just wanted to get it out.

Why does eveyone think Yankees fans wouldn't expect a Millionair to support a devistated family. We don't like Schilling, but we know he has money, and can understand why he does it. Every player in the league who get paid top dollar should do it, not to live with them, but buy them a house and such. Its still a nice thing to do though.
