  1. I never said anything in my life abiout Eli Manning unless its bad. True Pennington did bad, tell me I'm wrong all you want, but this was his first game with a new OC and working in the shotgun. Hopfully they can pull out and win the next few. Nothing agenst just you, but I hate how people say It was a good loss, or we take more than we lose, no..a loss is a loss, I don't care if Wakefield went a complete game and did great, he didn't out preform RJ, and took a loss, nothing positive about that. Mo got a save, I don't see how you know you can still beat him when you didn't, yea you got men on, but you didn't beat him, he beat you. And true, where is this Yankeesrule that this whole thing started about???
  2. If you guys are trying to make me sad or anything, it wont work, I can understand the Jets having a bad gamne, but the fact is, this is a baseball forum, and tal;king about football doesn't prove anything to me, I just skip over it
  3. If you really think what you said makes any sence, then your the moron, Just because the Patriots are better than the Jets, has apsolutly NOTHING AT ALL to do with whose better out of the Yankees Red Sox
  4. Either way, why would you talk about a totally different sport Oh yea, if the Jets are doing bad, it'll change my mind about how the Yankees Pitching staff is No, but your talking about how phenominal your team is, how great they score runs, and all that, but its only so great to be 4...checkl that...3 games better than us, so I guess 3 games is supposably the difference between a phenominal pitchingstaff, great batters and all that and sucking, having no good pitchers, and all that???
  5. Wow, you really must have nothing to respond to what I say, if you have to talk about a totallyu different sport at a time when the Yankees beat the Sox
  6. Its not like he said it wasn't, he said your pitching isn't that much better than our pitching.....I don't know what your trying to get across talking about your phenominal run support that has apsolutly nothing to do with what he said Who cares, I'm not the one calling it over when theres over 20 games left this season, including 4 vs each other, which is exactly how many were out, Thats why its stupid. Do you know what happened in the 1978 season, the Sox had a 10+ game lead on the Yankees, and probably did exactly what your doing now, counted them out. The Yankees then went on to come back, force a one-game playoff, and many may remember the term f***en Bucky Dent. I'm not here to talk about the past though. The Yankees have a lot of games left, and some of them are agenst bad teams, and I really could care less about the outcome of games in the past, because it really has no effect in my mind in the next game. And I musta forgot that you have 5 starters that are each 18-0 with ERAs under 1, oh yea wait, you don't. If the Yankees Starting rotation is that horrible, how come its only bad enough to be 4 games worse than yours. So in other words, the Red Sox starting rotation is only worth the better side of four games, well if the Yankees rotation sucks, then the Red Sox rotation suck with the exception of 4 games, is that what your saying, doesn't really make sence to me. And when you play a team that has shutdown starters where your offense can only score 3 runs a game, then you'll see what happens Yea, I'm watching the Yankees who should be 12 out right now, but are only 4, I'm not looking for the Yankees to catch the Sox, I'm looking for them to surpass them
  7. But, in all seriousness, that was the greatest baseball game that I ever witnessed, I'll admit too, Game 5 or 6(can't remember wich) last year was great, mbut that Game 7 of the ALCS was by far, the greatest baseball game I can remember watching, ever, in almost 10 years of baseball, it is
  8. Yea, I don't know if its just me, but I haven't been here long, but a lot of people make it seem like whoever goes to the YES Borads are the only Yankees fans. There are good fans and bad and ******* fans with everyteam. I never posted at YES Boards, I post manly at redsoxnationclub.tk and nyyonline.tk But the only thing that makes me angry, is if one Yankees fan says one thing, people think that every Yankee fan thinks that
  9. Thats true too, I don't eapect people from over there tio care much about Yankees-Sox. Same as I do not care much about theirs, but when it comes down to every rival, I think this is the best for the Players and fans
  10. Yea, thats about right
  11. I don't know what that guys talking about, but I know its the best time for me. So far this season, the only timed I've aqtched Yankee games with my friends or anyone else besides myself was when it was Yankees Red Sox, and like YS013 said, 43-43 after today. And even though I'm not haoppy they got it, the WS win for the Sox makes it even better, becuase now the Sox have something to defend, and the Yankees have somthing to chase for, I mean maybe a year ago right now, you could say its dying down becuase the Yankees had a 10 game lead for the divisoon and such and such and such.....but the events thats happened since them make everygame between them important, not just a show of a curse or whatever
  12. I guess I did write it in a wierd way, I edited my post so it'd be easier to understand
  13. Yea, i didn't even know it accually bothered Sox fans, 1- He was called out in the end 2-Of course hes gunna argue a overturned call, what was it Game 5 of the ALCS, no time for missed opprotunities. 3-To me, its the same exact thing as plowing over a catcher at home, I really do feel that if you can tackle a player at home plate in order to make him drop a ball, why can't you hit the ball outta the glove of someone to make them drop it. It sounds stupid, trust me I know, but when you think about it, it makes sence, just hold onto the ball, and you'll have no problems.
  14. The difficulty for the Yankees now is, Say we win tomarrow, we'll be 3 games out, that means from then untill we play Boston at Fenway, we need to out win the Red Sox by 2 games from now untill then or else we manditorily need a sweep for the division, becuase even if we win 2 outta 3, we'd only pick up 1 game, so we'd need to be out by only 1 to start. Thats why we need to take tomarrows game, and then, for reasons to ease my nervs, go on like a 14 wins in 16 games and get it to 1 game out when we play in Boston. And to me, truth is, if were only one game out when we play Bostob at the end of the month, then I think well have either clinched or only need one win for the Wild Card
  15. But he can play on a team with Manny, who tries to start a fight with Roger Clemens on a pitch that would not have even hit him if he didn't move. Or maybe Ortiz who started...2 fights in 2 games?? And probably based on your definition of *******, no one except Sheffield fits in that catagory.
  16. Well, you proved me wrong, I coulda swore no kicker or punter was inducted into the hall of fame
  17. I don't really want Damon either, no doubt hes one of the best but he won't go well with Torre or whoever is on the bench, Damon to me can say what he wants without consequence on the Sox, like the Schilling vs Timlin for closer. He called his manager wrong and I didn't here much about it after that, so unless I missed smething, I don't think Torre or whoever else its directed at would take that as well as it was taen. I also don't mind Crosby playing CF, he doesn't have the best bat, but he has speed and a fairly good arm, I'm not sure on this years stats, but last year he only had one error in 55 games
  18. I didn't follow the first part of what you said Manny goes boom, you might need to clarify it for me, I never counted Schilling out Thats what Sox fan in tex said, thats why I said it'd be stupid to count the Yankes out, cuz he made it clear, he thinks the Yankees are out
  19. I KNOW, I'm just saying thats what the errors did, if there weren't any, i'm not putting a W in the Yankees win collum, I'm just saying this is a sloppy series and errors have made the difference on both teams
  20. I can understand what you mean by that, but I'm just saying the Yankes have more people brought up in their farm system on the team now, then they did then cuz on the current roster its Bernie, Jeter, Cano, Wang, Rivera, Crosby, Phillips, Posada, Matsui(maybe not cuz he played in Japan, but I mean cuz he was only a Yankee), escolona and guys like that, and even though a few of them played during the time your talking about, more play now. Even though they should, I cannot think that a kicker or unter will ever be inducted into the hall of fame And I am too with Empirestrikesback26 and 26 to 6, I'm a Jets fan, and not a Pats
  21. Take out every error of the 4th, it woulda been 4-2, and I think that the Yankees woulda tried harder to win down 4-2 rather than 9-2
  22. hmmmm...13 pages of posting after yesterdays game, 22 after todays, where were all the Sox fans yesterday??
  23. I'm saying if your are counting them out, it would be stupid I didn't say you are stupid, but as empirestrikesback said 4 game out with 20 left to be played, including 4 more vs eachother, hmmmm
  24. Baseball- If your counting the Yankees out already, thats the stupidest thing you could do. To tell you the truth, the past 11 have been Yankees in first and Red Sox in second, and I expect nothing less this year. This series isn't the most pure baseball one I've ever seen. Errors won it for the Yankees yesterday, Errors won it for the Sox today. The Yankees trouble came to them in the beginning of the season, the Soxs are coming now. The Sox have more pitching than the Yankees, but thats not saying much. I can't defend them more than what they've done, but it'd just be stupid to count us out already. Football-Chad Pennington threw a 48 yard TD pass in the playoffs with a tornrotator cuff......now its not torn, so to you: Torn Rotator Cuff=48 yrd TD non-Torn Rotator Cuff=Int ?? We've also got a new offense, as someone brought up, which is a good thing. Hackett would call draw plays on 3rd and 15. Hermindinger playing in the shotguns, works in the TEs and all that. The Jets are a better team than they were last year, and if we could make it as close as wide left of the AFC Championship last year, Superbowls what I think this year
  25. I don't hate the Pats I dislike and respect them. I am a Yankes fan, but also a Jets fan, football is my true love, so in that case, you can see me to hate the team in my same division that always win, but I do respect them. But there is one thing both team have in common, they do what they have to to win. If people think that if football had nop cap, all the teams would still be under it??? If you have the money spend it, even if George only had 100mil to work with, I'm posotive that he could put together a winning franchise. "they care too much about winning, thats why I hate the Yankees" thats what someone told me the other day.....good reason. But back to the topic, Patriots were strong the last few years, but the Yankees have been strong their entire history except the pre1920s and 1980's
