Exactly, this is the best Defensive Yankees game, I've seen all year, maybe even in the past 2 years, ESPNS Top 10 could all be just from this game(for both teams), and still leave some great plays out, Now the Yankees have won 6 in a row, 10 of the last 13, 20 of their last 28, and are 39-22 since Jusly 14th

I'm not sure everyones numbers in this catagory, but A-Rod has 20 Game Winning RBIs, do you know anyone elses, I only know Ortizs is 18 becuase they put that stat on the TV. I doubt anyone has mnore, I'd say thats clutch

Because everysignle year, the Bills will go 1-5 in the first 6 games, then after going 8-1 throught the next 9, they'll have a shot at the playoffs, and lose. This team has not made the playoffs since when, 1999??, I'm not saying their overrated just this year(which I stand by they are), theyre an overrated franchise. The Jets got killed I saw that, but they were adjusting to the shotgun, I don't know if yousaw the whole game, but half of Penbningtons fumbles were on the snap. They also played a newly put together Cheifs D, which is very good now, The Bills beat the Houston Texans, I know theyve been getting better, but its nothing to to dance about, yet. And, I'm not sure if you knew this, but I read that the Jets have the number pass offense in the NFL. Now I understand most of those yards came froom scrambling to score in the final minuets, but its a stat you cannot ignore.

This is a must win game for the Jets, no way we can catch the patriots down by 2 games(cuz I think they'll destory the cats 28-3). But 1-1, I think we can pull into 2nd with the Fins and the Bills(overrated) losing Pats2-0 Jets/Bills/Fins1-1 I hope

Well sometimes when I watch the YES Network, Michael Kay gets into it even if like the D-Rays were to have a game winning hit, he'll get into it just the same as if it was the Yankees. And one time I was watching a Yankees/Red Sox game on ESPN, and with no lie, the Red Sox had a 1-2-3 inning(offensivly), and Joe Buck said "This Just in............THAT WAS A 1-2-3 INNING!!!!!!!!!", And then The Yankees had one like 1 inning later and he said apsolutly nothing, so other than him, theres pretty ok, I just don't like games on FOX for that reason.

Yes, but he is saying that he wanted his mom to see him inducted, thats why he pondered retierment, but now that she [sadly] passed away, she cannot see him inducted, so he can extend the length of his career for as long as he feels nessisary becuase she passed away.

Another big what-if for both the Sox and Yankees is what if Aaron Boone never would have broken his leg or whatever happened. Then the Yankees wouldn't have went after A-Rod, and he probly woulda went to the Sox, and be hated by Yankee fans and gotten into a fight with Posada and stuff like that...maybe :dunno:

Does anyone watch...or should I say read the game on MLB Gameday, its really bad, I've been following the whole Game by it, and it was 5-0 Sox, and I go to look at the TV not even 2 min. later and it said 5-5, and now doubting that the Jays score 5runs ins under 5 min, this gameday is very slow.

I just looked, and in 1978(when the Yankees forced a one game playoff vs the Sox), We were 9-7 vs them, but finished with the same record, so I believe its a 1-game playoff as apposed to head to head like the NFL

Yep But I also think you need to posts the stats agents teams that are over .500 and under .500, and even though the Yankees have had their trouble vs teams under .500, it'll make a big difference

Heres the thing. Most of you aren't Jets fans, and based on the teams I think you like, you hate the Jets, so when the Jets take a loss like they did, the first thing you think is that their done. Its the same thing as if the Pats took a huge loss(as you all stated like the 31-0 loss), I could easily say they don't stand a shot, too many other good teams, ect.ect.ect. And those of you who accually know what your talking about and can understand the game, you'll know why your team lost, and why they are still contenders. Thats like me, I know more about the Jets than I do my little brother, and I know exactly why they lost and how they can win. Over the offseason, they made so many changes, including changing to shutgun, and if you watched the game, you can tell most of the problems happened with those exact changes. The defense started off bad, but after the 1st quarter, they were doing great. Its the offense that had too many changes to make where they couldn't preform well. And I for one am not nervouse of the Bills, they always start like 2-6, then win the next 7, and with a shot to make the playoffs they lose. I also don't expect many of you to accept what I'm saying becuase its the same thing as if I was asking you to understand why the Yankees are great and things like that. But I can tell you, if you do not expect the Jets to be a playoff team, and a superbowl, even division contender at that, you need to rethink and wait a few more weeks before you set your playoff teams in stone.

But the thing is, we still play 3 game vs each other, so it changes a lot of things. Maybe if we didn't play 3 vs each other, I could understand the hardness of that which we need to do, but because we play 3 games vs each other, if the Sox go 10-10, the Yankees could go 10-10, though it'd be very hard to sweep the Sox in Fenway, but the fact that its possable makes it that much better. So even a one or 2 game difference between the two when the Sox play the Yankees in Boston could make a huge difference

Tough loss for my Jets, at least now it'l be back to how it used to be, everyone expecting them to do bad, so it feels better when they do good. Today was an ajustment loss, and there is no such thing as a good loss, in any situation, so I'll just say this was an adjustment loss, and hopfully over the week, Herm can show the guys and they can work on what they did wrong.
