  1. I must say Brady did better than I expected..I thought his leg would mes him up..but either hes too good, or the Bucs didn't know how to capitalize
  2. I'm surprised in the Bucs...I did pick the Patriots to win, but there getting killed by teams they should be close with, and lsoing to teams they should beat
  3. Cuz I thought it was going to work out like one of them got injured or something bad, and I just was like..Jeter...let Cano get it!
  4. Sorry about that, wasn;t trying to steal the glory from ya lol. Just on the winners, if the Jeter over Cano was the #2 voted for best play...then there was no good plays at all this year, cuz watching that live, I was more pissed than impressed
  5. Well, you know my position of Jim Brown, he is the best, and he went to SU!!.. bUT Compairing proven NFL greats to undrafted college kids isn't, for lack of a better word, fair. We have no idea that Matt Leinhart won't be the Next Marino.....or maybe next ryan leaf...we don't know. But what we do know, is that Jim Brown played in the hard days, not as many player safe rules as there are today. also, Jim Brown played 4 games less a year, and Jim brown played for 4 years, and 2 less for 5, I mean just imagine what Jim Browns numbers would look like with 26 more games to play I did the math, he averaged 104 yards a game, times 26, thats and extra 2,704 I mean and extra 3000 yards to him stats. So Jim Brown is the best, but I'm sure one day, someone could be better

  8. You are correct, IDK, I can pick the Yankees to lose, but the Jets are expected to go 19-0 every year for me. unless Its like the Colts vs the Jets, and I got like $100 on the line, when its kinda just for fun, I like to live crazy, and if they do win, its a helpful push for me:thumbsup:

  10. Wow? Nomar? Wow! I remember after we got A-Rod I was joking with my friend saying I bet one day weel get Tejada to play second and Nomar to play 1st, never though half of it would come true. Its funny, in the sence that we'd have 3 AllStar ShortStops playing the infield. But, if it happens, it will set the bar so high, that we will almost need to win 125 games just to beat the odds. I still wouldn;t mind it. But from what I hear on TV, Nomars no good at ShortStp anymore(well, hes good, just not as good). And right now hes playimng his best ball at 3rd base. When I think about it, were set if Jeters hand starts bothering him, and we wanna give him the day off, or just have him DH, we can send ARod to SS, and Nomar to 3rb. But, then in the case where you don't want to have A-Rod playing SS, and maybe misreading a few balls when he goes back to 3rd, we can just gamble and have Nomar play SS. What I don't think this will effect greatly is team home runs. It should effect it, but not by much. seeing that Tino had about 20 HomeRuns, and Nomar can get to about 30 if hes healthy, it shouldn't change the effect of runs, but I see an increase in clutness. I guess well just have to stick it out, and then wait forthe results
  11. I'd trade Pavano and Wright, for RP. Pursuade Clemens to return, but for cheaper. Resign Bernie, look for a good young 1B, if I can't find one, get back Tino for cheap
  12. Well that went to hell fast....10 total with 48min left:thumbdown :dunno:
  13. Wow, sleeveless jerseys do look really bad, if they had sleevs, they'd be pretty cool, though I think they'd just be the same, I'm not sure. But still, no sleeves, its sorta funny, but I'll have to see it in action. lol, I remeber hearing something like a team got new jerseys, and the coach hated them, and he told the staring pitcher before a game, "You better pitch a complete game, becuase I'm not comeing out of the dugout in this." lol
  14. That could be great, but also could be INSAINLY risky to rely on. Schilling and Beckett have before suffered injurys, ones, that if reinjured, could cause them to miss many games, Clemens is old, and I don't know much about Papelbon, but Wakefields fine. I mean in some cases its a risk worth taking, but its still a big risk. Now, I don't know about him being a drama-queen, cuz that doesn't matter to me, 9th on the ALlTime Wins list, 2nd alltime in SO, 26th in Shutouts. Hes a great player, but I don't think any of you were doubting that. But for 15+ million....huge risk
  15. I didn't vote, cuz I think they'll overcome all odds and be over .500, with a 5 game push, so anywhere between 76-86 losses
  16. Geeze....I'm bad.....oh well. Come on New Orleans.....10-3 NO wins!!!! Just looking over total points for tonight...if the total is anywhere between 0-21 does that mean I win....suince I had 13, and the next closest is 30, so its like a price is right kinda thing, thats a nice cusion
  17. There is a possibility that Bush may not be a number 1 pick...Dominic Davis has a great looking future, and even though a trade would be easy, I see the Texans taking a different approch, OL. I'm not much for NCAA, but I hear This D'brickshaw Furgason is the best OLman to come out of the draft in 15 years or so. Packers have Aaron Rogers, so I don't see them getting Leinhart. I really would wish that the Jets get Bush, but with todays win, I think they've pulled outta that race. Maybe If they trade whatever pick they get(#4 maybe?) next years 1st, or a 2nd, or a 1st-2nd and a player, they could get 1st overall??
  18. Yepp..Die Hard Jets of 7 years. SoxFan????Billlsss??? Why did u think I have 3 Jets videos in my sig at your site. Its a horrible day in the world of Jets fans, Curtis Martin is done for the season, and possible his career, Maybe I'll do a write-up on him for you guys to read. I know he plays for a rival team, but hes one of those guys you just have to respect
  19. lol..It didn't trouble me..
  20. This may be a dumb question..but whats going on with Chacons contract? I thought we only had him for 1 year?, did we sign him to a long term deal?
  21. He could acctually be the only player to ever play to and past 50 without missing season, all the others came back after 10+ years
  22. He said I did it wrong..not u I edited mine, sorry for the mixup
  23. the early '90s weren't my studying era, but, heres what I believe. Clemens hates the Sox, since the time he left them, he never liked them, he will most defiantly go into the Hall as a Sox, but not happily, he wanted to go in as a Yankee when he "retired", and it was expected that Geroge Steinbrenner was going to try and get him to(I'm not sure if that is, but thats what I remember), then, Roger came back to the MLB, and played for the Astros, last year, when a trade was in the talks, he said the only team, other than the Astros, he'd play for is the Yankees. I wouldn't mind having him on the Yankees due to his history, but I wouldn't get hyped up on him coming back to the Sox, in his own decision.

  25. He also(not really relivent, but none-the-less) took the Yankees from only having 966,328 fans in 1972 to 4,090,696, so hes doin a fine job building a team that can win...and we can watch
