  1. Whenever I'm in Philly I stop off and grab a few burgers there. Good stuff.
  2. When judging an individual pitchers season I usually look at wins down the line as opposed to 1st. There are so many factors that are out of the pitchers hand that have an effect on weather the pitcher gets the win or not. Put Santana on any tean that can hit and we arent having this discussion right now.
  3. Atlanta Carolina Cincinnati Detroit Jacksonville Kansas City San Diego Tennessee Chicago N.Y Giants Seattle Pittsburgh Washington Monday Nighter New England (This is the Colts best chance but I recall saying that last year also.)
  4. Pena was a nice pick up. There were really down on Sojo after some of his decisions he made at 3rd base. They bring in Pena for 1st base and to relate to guys like Robby Cano who was really close with Sojo.
  5. I agree, what is it with people? I saw Yahoo make predictions on the divison already. Can we wait untill the offseason is over please?
  6. lol nah, if you want to land a player of that caliber(which is rare) you would have to start off with a package of Hughes, Duncan, and Wang. Maybe even Cano.
  7. Oh well no biggy IMO. There has been worse cases then this like Raffy Palmiero winning the gold glove at 1B but only playing something like 20 games there.
  8. I dont like to go by errors because alot of them could be "range errors"(I'm not sure who has the better range between them). I remeber people would compare Jeter to Nomar and they would use that same arguemnt. "Nomar gets to more balls thus more off a chance to make errors".
  9. I never really checked out this forum but by looking at it you guys really do a great job. This year for Christmas I would like either the Friday the 13th - From Crystal Lake to Manhattan dvd set or the dvd the Shining(I've never seen it). I like all of those horror movies esp the Friday the 13 because in a way its both scary BUT it cracks me up. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0002JP572/qid=1130887194/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-3116039-8961723?v=glance&s=dvd I'm not sure if this counts but my favorite fast food place is Outback Steak House. I cant get enough of those no rules burgers.
  10. Well theres no garentee that hes going to be a good 1st basemen or a good OFer. That said I would only move him for a really good player. I wouldnt even trade him for Tori Hunter. I'm talking superstar level. Duncan has been very impressive in the AFL.
  11. The only Yankee prospect that I can see them trading if they could get a really good player for is Eric Duncan only because they have the position filled(both 1B and 3b). I think threy Yankees will get someone like Juan Pierre for CF. Cashman has had a hard on for BJ Ryan for years so if the Yankees dont get him it wont be because of money or anything like that. They will break the bank for him and from what I heard he has a relationship with Ron Guirdy and he might become the new Yankees pitching coach.
  12. For all that talk about the crazy Yankee front office it sounds like there was just as much problems in the Red Sox FO. ESP between Theo and Lucchino.
  13. Thats brutal, I'm sure the Red Sox wish he would have resigned a few days ago so they could have promoted Josh Byrnes. I'm sure the Dodgers are licking their chops.
  14. I'm shocked, is this really true?
  15. hahaha that really changed the course of history.
  16. I heard Gammons say that on Mike and Mike. The major difference between Carl Pavano and Burnett is that Burnett has great stuff. The problem is he is a classic underachiever. So was Vazquez and Clement. Great stuff but underachievers. I wouldnt trust him in the hitters paradise that is the AL (in particular the AL East).
  17. Doesnt he have a tear in his rotator cuff? Plus he is 35 years old. That is a big risk.
  18. Good point
  19. Since 98, the NL has won 2 WS and is 12-29 in WS play. The AL has dominated for sometime now.
  20. The White Sox are your World Champions
  21. 1 out away on a great catch.
  22. Last licks for the Astros.
  23. 3 outs away untill we can start the countdown for free agency!
