  1. Well we agree to disagree. There no reason to act the way he does after closing out games. Even some Angel fans agree with me: not sayng he is better..maybe he is..but street has more composure and poise than Krod..you never see him pumping his fist or howing his emotions on the mound..its all about business...by the way, did anyone notice Krod pump his fist after striking out podsednik..thats after he gave up the go ahead run lol that was from the espn boards. But as I said before agree to disagree. EDIT: I have no idea how to quote.
  2. He jumps up and down after he saves a game against the Mariners in may. Everyone does a fist pump. What he does after games I find disrespectful. Everyone is out there is compeating. Then again I have spent 10 years watching the greatest of all time close games and not act like an ******* in the process so maybe I'm jadded.
  3. I must say it felt good to watch K-Rod struggle out there tonight when he celebrates after a save in mid may. Celebrate your proformence tonight *******.
  4. Lets hope the Stros wrap it up tomorrow.
  5. Does it really matter? not to be too pickey but you called it on 10/11 I called it on 10/10 so I CALLED IT FIRST
  6. BTW I dont like to take credit but I did call it...... I said White Sox in 5.
  7. The World Series is something special and its about time you guys have a chance to experince it. Congrats on winning the ALCS. Take the W.S. for the American League.
  8. I dont really take Trump that seriously outside of his show. As for A-Rod as time goes on I'm starting to get over A-Rod's failure in this postseason.
  9. Vlad grounds out yet again. Hes lucky hes in So Cal.
  10. 1-1 1st and 3rd 2 outs for Vlad.
  11. Its up to Vlad
  12. yeah its coming down.
  13. Its funny because if you listen to certain people in the media like Mike Francessa of M@MD he talks about Vlad like hes a big time clutch hitter when in fact hes never hit well in the post season. He did very little against the Red Sox, they won against the Yankees despite him and they are about to lose this series because of him really.
  14. Vlad is making Alex Rodriguez look like a playoff hero. 1-17 in this series.
  15. I think the story of this series has been the OUTSTANDING starting pitching by the White Sox. That starting pitching is what got them that huge lead in the central and thats whats winning for them now. Including the regular season the White Sox are now 10-1 in their last 11 games. EDIT: 11-1 in their last 12 with this win.
  16. Manny will never be a Yankee. There is alot of talk in NY about Manny to the Mets.
  17. Goodbye Flash. Great reg season set up man but when the lights got to bright you s*** the bed. Hopefully you s*** the bed for the Mets as their closer.
  18. lmao theses umps have been brutal this year. I wouldnt be suprised if this prompts instant replay because that was the worst call I've seen this year. How do you call someone out then give them first base because the hitter ran down to first? If AJ walks back to the dugout nothing happens. Heads up play by AJ but the umps really f***ed that one up.
  19. and this is just one of more things to come. This will be a wild off-season for the Yankees. Not only are they facing some personal decisions but there is a power struggle going on within.
  20. I like Mel but he really didnt say anything that we did'nt know already about George and the "Tampa braintrust". I thought he was at his best when he worked with guys like Small and Wang because they were the same kind of pitcher he was. They were all sinker/slider pitchers.
  21. I feel the same way also. I loved how Big Steiny aka King George aka George Steinbrenner III took a slighty shot a Torre today by sending his congrats to the Angels AND THEIR MANAGER. This off-season will be an entertaining one.
  22. RJ will win 18-20 games next year. Toward the end of the year he put it all togther and went 6-0 in his last 8 starts with an under 2 ERA. Look for RJ to want to prove something next year after what I would call a joke of a start in the post-season. Mussina certainly isnt aging with grace but even with injuries he found a way to win 13 games. Hes a 15 game winner IMO. The wild card here is Pavano. I have no idea what to expect out of him next year. I also believe they will find a way to dump Wright. Everyone including there grandmother knew that was a stupid signing. Even if he comes back he wont beat out Chacon or Wang for the final 2 spots. IMO the Yankee sucess or failure next season will be determined by how they re-vamp that bullpen. I believe everyone is a free agent in the bullpen except for Rivera. The way they shape this bullpen in the off-season should shape their season. There is no doubt in my mind that Ryan MUST BE #1 priorty . Then look for a CF.
  23. Your not really telling us anything new. A-Rod didnt show up and he hasnt since game 4 last year. BTW Make sure Terry Francona prints this out and gives it to Tony Graffanino: http://www.davislittleleague.org/coaching_fieldingtip.asp Lets go back to basics!
  24. That would be my team but I doubt we could get Pavano for Hunter with the money left on Pavano's deal. I agree with you on Giles, Cameron and Damon. I would love to unload both Pavano and Wright.
  25. I was here for the majority of the series. If you look back I gave my summery on all of the games except game 3 because I was at the game. Then again I dont have to defend myself.
