    I wouldn't compare the integrity of Pedro Martinez to Johnny Damon. And there's no question Steinbrenner would take Damon over Pierre if only for the fact that he loves signing ex-Sox to stick it to them, or so he thinks. That's the only reason Alan Embree has a job

    I think its in the Sox best interest to match any offer anyone makes for Damon cause Damon has said that all things being equal, he would choose Boston over even the Yankees
