  1. oh man, we really can't go into the playoffs with pitching like this otherwise the entire playoffs will look like Game 3 of the ALCS
  2. right now, id just love to see Curt get into some kind of groove. get some confidence back in the big guy
  3. love it when our starting pitching antigonizes their fans. worked out quite well for Schilling in Game 1 of the ALCS last year...
  4. almost the perfect lineup, just missing Tony G
  5. it was fine to give the guy a shot but clearly, he wasn't working. I think he might've been given one chance too many though
  6. today was one of those games where everything came together and if we played the kind ball we played today come October, we've got a great shot at repeating
  7. ill be so glad to see Detroit leave town...
  8. took long enough
  9. oh man, what id do for this team to have even average pitching....
  10. man, as much as I love this team, they drive me absolutely nuts sometimes
  11. the shootout rule is perfect. im glad theyre still leaving infinite overtime periods for the playoffs
  12. as ugly as it was, a win is a win and Detroit has given us fits all year so ill take it
  13. our playoff hopes rest on one guy in the rotation stepping up to become a true ace in the playoffs and right now, I think the closest guy we have to that is David Wells cause especially after tonight so far, it sure as f*** isn't Curt Schilling
  14. I mean, obviously it wasn't a conventional procedure he had done on his ankle to be able to play in the ALCS and World Series so who knows if that ankle will ever be 100% again. And after all, Schilling isn't getting any younger either
  15. anyone else starting to think that Schilling may have sacrificed the rest of his career for the Red Sox to win the World Series?
  16. he's still one of the 25 and a big part of the team's attitude and looseness
  17. its friggin' Fenway, I cant imagine the Sox playing anywhere else
  18. from what ive seen, Jeter probably has the most accurate arm of any shortstop in the majors, definitely not strongest but most accurate
  19. wow, what a disgusting amount of hate for Millar. even Bellhorn wasnt getting bashed this bad
  20. well, he was great last night. 3 innings with no hits and 1 walk
  21. welcome back Trot indeed
  22. I was very excited to hear about him signing with the Red Sox cause I knew he would stabalize the position for several years, I was disappointed in his slow start but I always knew he would come around and he definitely has. Barring injury, he's only gonna get better in the next few years. Plus he just seems like an easy guy to get along with and a great professional
  23. why in the f*** does Remlinger still have a job?
