    as much as I wish Roberts was still here, he deserved his chance to be an everyday player for a team but it's definitely tough to see a guy go when you know he played an integral part in the Red Sox winning the World Series last year

    Renteria has been very very underrated this season. He started off slowly but he's always been solid defensively, despite his errors and his hitting has gotten better and better.

    at first, I was like "THIS is who we replaced Pedro with?!" and at the beginning of the year, he was proving s*** all to me but for the last while, he's probably been our most consistent pitcher

    thats a solid win. even though it was against the royals, they made a nice comeback and never looked back but looking at schill, imagine what a solid keith foulke would do for this team

    all I can say is that I'm glad Wake has settled down after a rocky first inning and it's a nice little comeback we got going here but I'm hoping that 1st inning doesn't cost us a win we should have

    Manny is responsible for a hell of a lot more wins than he is for losses so that being said, I couldn't care less what he does

    unfortunately, I was camping all weekend and missed every game of the series but holy crap, thats an impressive sweep and things look even better with a day off tomorrow and then the Royals

    exactly, this pitching staff as is stands right now is far too much of a liability to go too deep in the playoffs Schilling needs to come back to the rotation right now. I really don't like him coming into a game at the most hightened pressure situation where if he gives up a hit or a double, it gets magnified not only because it's potential tying runs for the other team, but because his name is Curt Schilling. Schilling needs that opportunity to start a game, give up his single or double in the first inning when it means next to nothing and get into the groove of a game and if indeed Miller is out because of his shoulder situation and Clement's status is by no means a certainty, we desperately need that rotation help

    I would definitely think that's the case. if they showcase Arroyo tonight, it gives them that much more time to put a deal together for, I'm guessing, Burnett
