what a stupid story, Bartman reacted the way 98% of fans in his position would've reacted. he wasn't even the only fan to reach for the ball, it just happened to hit his hand
yea the lineup sucks but they're still an organization that preaches plate discipline and for a pitcher with control issues like Dice-K has, no walks is encouraging
I mean, obviously the Habs aren't gonna be 100% French Canadian anymore since back in the day, they had first dibs on every French Canadian coming into the NHL and if that was still the case today, they'd be loaded with French Canadians
I'd say there are question marks on the Yankees side for offense. Jeter, Damon, Giambi, Abreu and Matsui are all another year older and A-Rod and Posada aren't in contract years anymore
There are a good contingent of Canadiens fans who are intelligent but I work for the sports radio station here in Montreal and there are more than our fair share of idiot callers so when those idiots go to games....and get liquored up....they become even more idiotic
I agree. When I went there were a few Habs fans who got too liquored up and picked a fight with security after the game. Personally, I just go to support my team on the road, not to taunt the fans who are there to cheer their hometown team. I cheered without taunting fans when the Habs scored and I kept my mouth shut and expected the same treatment from the B's fans when they scored and I got that respect.
Yep, I'm from Montreal born and raised and am a die-hard Habs fan. I was actually one of the Habs fans who infiltrated the Banknorth Garden last year. Good times
Dice-K bent but didn't break but I was disappointed that it looked like the same Dice-K from last season. I'm expecting a significant jump in his effectiveness this season
