  1. probably Harden
  2. do you even bother factoring in the fact that he was recovering from cancer up through spring training?
  3. I'd say World Series title-related revenue exceeds 6 mil so meh
  4. that's awesome
  5. is that the only time the Royals have ever beaten out the Yankees for a free agent?
  6. He's holding to the offer of Crisp, Lester, Masterson and Lowrie and keeping Ellsbury as his ace in the hole. If the Yankees up their offer, Theo will probably sub Crisp for Ellsbury
  7. the price for Johan Santana just went up me thinks
  8. no question the Mitchell Report is incomplete. He could only report what people, who were actually willing to talk to him, told him
  9. shocking...Jack Cust is on it
  10. Brendan Donnelly is on it
  11. it is a bit sketchy that one week teams are negotiating for a player until the wee hours of the morning and then all of a sudden, no developments at all for a few days
  12. probably because Ellsbury was an impact player in the World Series whereas Kalish was blowing spit balls in algebra class a year ago
  13. wow, I can't wait until tomorrow. This is gonna blow up big time
  14. honestly, I'm surprised we haven't seen 5-10 guys come out and say they used in the past few days. most who are named to that report must know they're on it and I'd figure most would try and protect their image as much as possible by being more forthcoming about it
  15. depends if he's Canadian or American
  16. good, glad to see him out of the division
  17. Velocity isn't everything. It's the life and control on the fastball that matter. That's the difference between Jonathan Papelbon and Daniel Cabrera
  18. is the goal to win titles or produce as many all-stars as possible?
  19. saying Coco will never repeat what he did this past season is saying he was lucky. I don't see what's lucky about having the range he does, his ability to read a flyball and his willingness to dive for a ball. He is what he is and that is an outstanding defensive centerfielder. His arm strength is crap and for that reason alone is why I don't think he deserved the gold glove but that's another discussion
