  1. Wade Miller I think is another candidate they should decide to get rid of or something. In his first 10 starts in a red sox uniform, has given up 11 runs just in the 1st inning of each game. True somehow he keeps getting the home plate umpires that squeeze him on his strike out zone. gotta admit guys, that couple of times when it was 9th inning 2 outs, 2 strikes were already up, some that were counted as balls were clearky in the strike zone, stupid geriatric umpire--Miller just signed a one year contract, thank god, im leaning moreso for the sox to get aj burnett or schmidt end of next month
  2. was it just me but did you see a number of our boys when they went for the ball were bobbling it?? like jay payton, manny couple of times, bellhorn with that play in the 9th that couldve tagged out the runner at 2nd base
  3. god i just cant explain what has happened these past two nights, all of a sudden playing like the oakland athletocs when they came into town in early may
  4. oh cmon why why why get rid of Tito, hes a great manager. Although I dont agree with his decisions after seeing the way embree has been playing, recently been sending him to the mound when theres a slim lead..and oh my god last night when foulke was up on the mound with two men on, they had embree warming up, it wouldve been 17 - 5 had embree gone up there--Im leaning towards embree, mantei, and vazquez going--Mantei is a great guy, but he has no control of the location of where the ball goes--He hits a lot of batters with his wild pitches and course that means a lot of walks
  5. ok i will agree to not making any more game threads, to amke sure teh sox win the next consecutive 86 games, huh thats weird the number of games left, coincidence. sure thing
  6. lol, ok lets see that would mean game threads started by stocker forecasted doom the first two cardinal games, red sox rooter and sox fan in tex were responsible for the cubs taking the first two games, and Beantown is responsible for the sox losing to pisstburgh 2 - 0
  7. cmon wake command with your knuckle ball on a humid day game tomorrow
  8. plus there was mannys quick and accurate throw to bellhorn it was so close to throwing out a runner at 2nd base, but it slipped out of bellhorns glove as he turned around
  9. timlin gives up the most runs that are already inherited from pitcher before him
  10. it wouldnt have been bases loaded, those walks included balls that shouldve been strikes
  11. dude he kept calling balls that were entering the strike zone, era has nothin to do with it
  12. its not foulkes fault at all, same pitches hes been throwing for strikes, will be same pitches he makes at 0 - 2, and he will say ball
  13. omg this loss has nothing to do with our team to played best they could, im blaming all of this on the geriatric umpire
  14. who wants to strangle this stupid ump, foulke had him at 0-2, then 4 straight balls shouldve been called strikes
  15. damn now that is a mueller type throw from 3rd base to 1st, accurate and fast
  16. youk youk youk, productive as they come as a backup--his day will come to be a starter
  17. payton is batting 345 for month of june, and he was behind the comeback win of last weeks game, so im a fan of him--who knows maybe schmidt will be available by years end, just not sure yet what to think when miller starts
  18. i do agree though about this home plate umpire they have, calling balls when they are most def strikes--thank god for the 3ird base umpire who bailed out myers telling the hp ump it was a strike
  19. gos they kept wade in, 117 pitches--anyone think so far the sox will extend his contract that expires at the end of this season?
  20. eeh, yeaa im gonna turn game off if they keep wade miller in, now homerun
  21. wade lets try to throw 2 strikes in a row at least, god huh
  22. thats their word and the boston globe respresentative
  23. ah sorry stocker, im out on disability from work so i have a lottttt of tiem ahead of me, haha bored of course, 3 months out of work, blah--something very good to hear on nesn game report, they were talking about possibility of getting eddie guarduardo from the mariners in echange for kelly shoppach and somebody else--what a help he would be in the bullpen, send embree packin'
