So wait... dillusional fans caused the Red Sox to be outplayed by the Yankees? I bet you believed in the curse, too. Everybody saw us slipping -- you couldn't check the standings without seeing it. You call the people that posted the magic numbers idiots -- so what does that make you for thinking it somehow costed them the division?
Out of curiosity... do you guys know if Damon thought Jeter had the ball? Or if he was just trying for an extra base? I figure he might've mentioned it in a press conference or something.
Wang looks like he's having control problems too. Granted, it's only been one hitter, but I think Sutcliffe is onto something, for those watching the ESPN telecast, the temp changes may be affecting the grip on the ball.
Basically, I will never doubt Schilling's ability to play in a big game. I had confidence in him last year, and he came through -- I expect the same in this weekend series.
No... he's saying that if you go into the 9th inning with a lead, you already have an advantage anyway. I could say the same thing in that if you're minimizing this Sox lineup, no matter who's on the mound, you are making a mistake.
Out of over 72,000 people polled on ESPN.com... 59% disagree with you and say he has gone above and beyond and deserves the MVP. These clutch hits are killing A-Rod. He needs to get a few this weekend... because it's a safe bet that Big Papi will.

That HAD to lock up the MVP for Big Papi. Was there any doubt that he'd get that hit? He continues to cement his status as one of most clutch hitters this game has ever seen. I love that man.
