  1. oh my bad idk what I was thinking. lol So for 4 seats you can probably get upwards of $200 on ebay. Probably more.
  2. So take $50 for 2 and you made back 2/3 of your money, and you still have 2 to sell lol. I would just sel them on ebay, that's what I do when I have extras. I'm sure because it's a Yankee/Sox game you can get some bread, but I've never bought standing room seats anywhere and don't know what people are typically willing to pay to stand around for 3 and a half + hours.
  3. I'll give you $50 for 2 of them. $80 for all 4 lol
  4. Canseco didn't write Game of Shadows. And the reason that more Yankees are named in the mitchell report than any other team, as I've argued all day, is because the sources for the Mitchell Report were primarily out of NY. That's what information they had, and that's the information George Mitchell relied upon. You're sadly mistaken if you think PED use is limited to those listed in the mitchell report.
  5. good one.
  6. Wow good post. You're on your way to becoming a top-notch member of this board.
  7. lol nice poll 700. I went witht he first option, but that's not to say that i don't think he'll cry privately out of sight of the media
  8. Absolutely not. he did call him out in the media though prior to the book coming out. I didn't hear anything about him from the book so it's more than plausable that A-Rod paid him off to keep him out of the book, absolutely. I'm just saying that after reading Juiced I didn't bother picking up Vindicated so idk if there is or isn't anything about him in there. Probably not considering we didn't hear much, and probably because of the very reason you mentioned. Good call.
  9. I'm irritable because I'm extremely irritated. Makes sense, right lol. My bad about the initial post, I was laying in bed still half asleep watching (more like listening to) David Cone's 19K game against the Phillies from 1991 on MLB Network. All of a sudden "BREAKING NEWS: ALEX RODRIGUEZ TESTED POSITIVE.........." What a way to wake up, hearing that the best player on your favorite team is a cheater. I needed to let the frustration out.
  10. Agreed. Speaking of Canseco and how he was with the Sox in '95, another thing to consider is how this situation just adds even more so to his credibility. He hasn't been wrong on anything yet, and he said several times prior to the release of Vindicated that he had dirt on Alex and that Alex "wasn't the person he appears to be." It's also common knowledge they worked out together. I didn't read vindicated so idk what's in the book about Alex, but if anyone has please shed some light. As much as everybody might not like the guy, He's been dead on everytime.
  11. I'd be shocked if Jeter is on there, but stranger things have happened. I was shocked Pettitte was in the Mitchell Report.
  12. I agree. i can't help but think that his performance will be impacted in some way. If anyone is dumb enough to take on that contract trade him and get a boatload of talent in return. nyyfans is a JOKE! It's people like that that give all Yankee fans a bad wrap.
  13. f*** you prick.
  14. I wouldn't go as far as to call the Mitchell Report a conspiracy, just that you need to consider the sources. They used whatever information they could get, and it just so happens that most of it came from former employees of the NY teams. No conspiracy, he just used what he had and it just so happens that he had more on NY guys than others. If the sources were out of Texas you would have more Rangers and Astros. It's whatever, but everyone thinks that the yankees are guilty more so than any other team, but don't consider the lack of sources close to the other 29 teams.
  15. What makes you so positive Clemens never juiced in Boston, or tried it? You're just speculating. You have no proof, dickhead.
  16. That's the list for people who failed the 2003 drug tests that were implemented for research and data purposes. They were ordered to be kept classified, and came without penalty. The Mitchell report includes these former Red Sox: Manny Alexander, José Canseco, Paxton Crawford, Roger Clemens, Chris Donnels, Jeremy Giambi, Mike Lansing, Josias Manzanillo, Kent Mercker, Mike Stanton, Mo Vaughn, Steve Woodard Jacoby, if you think use by a Boston player is limited to these 12 guys you're sadly mistaken.
  17. yeah, and 2/5 of them were Red Sox as well. Your team strongly persued a third one of them. STFU
  18. Jacoby better hope there aren't any Red Sox on that list because rather than take the mature approach that I've taken to the steroid controversy the whole time, setting my allegiance aside and looking at the GAME as a big picture, I'm going to relentlessly torture his little ass.
  19. Listen to you, you're so ridiculous. You are completely in denial if you think no Red Sox has ever used. go jump off a bridge you idiot. Listen to yourself right now. You really think steroids were exclusive to New York? You dumb prick...."name em up"...... shut the f*** up! There's plenty of them, just as there's plenty of KC Royals, California Angels, LA Dodgers, Texas Rangers, etc, etc, etc.
  20. Nobody's making excuses at all, none of what any of them did was right. But it's easy for you guys to all point fingers and laugh at the Yankees considering we had the most players get outed. Reason for that is the sources. If there was a New England source providing information to Mitchell we would hear about more Red Sox. I can't believe how ignorant some of you guys are being just pointing and laughing at the Yankees. EVERYONE WAS DOING IT, from Roger Clemens, to David Segui, to Alex Rodriguez, to Craig Biggio, to Jose Canseco, to this one and that one and so on and so forth. It's sickening, my stomach is upside down right now. Na, your post was made 2 mins before mine while I was still typing. I should have quoted, my bad.
