  1. I've given up on caring who the starters are and whether they'll have a good night or not. So long as Miller and Mujica are in the picture, it's all for naught anyway.
  2. Eckersley: "You don't really know what you're going to get from Mujica..." Errrrr... Ummmmm... oh yes, we do.
  3. Word. The naysayers will continue to naysay, but Ellsbury's presence would have made at least an 8 to 10 wins-instead-of-losses difference by now.
  4. I think Mujica is sucking on Farrell's dick. There is no other explanation for his being put in other than to eat up an inning or two with at least an eight-run lead.
  5. LOL that was some f***ed up s***. Free pizza for Pedroia tonight.
  6. What the f***.
  7. It's almost time to put Mujica in to even the score...
  8. Hey, you know those people who bring the "K" signs to the game with them? They bring 20 of them for Lester, just in case. And they bring one for Miller, just in case.
  9. Miller and Mujica! Yay! What the f***ing f***. Not to knock Farrell, but he's got to learn when to cut the s***. Enough is enough.
  10. Nah. They're getting Mujica warmed up, just in case there's a tie or a lead to relinquish.
  11. "Mujica being Mujica" Mujica is Spanish for "forfeit".
  12. Pedroia trying to pop a hole in one with the wrong kind of club again. I think he learned that one from Nomar.
  13. Gomes trying to get a hole in one.
  14. Third base coach must be f***ing drunk, to send a second runner around third on that play.
  15. Rangers in red and Red Sox in blue? They're f***ing with my old head.
  16. While I'd like to think that the Red Sox should be able to roll right over the Rangers like a steamroller, Buchholz does seem to kind of have a monkey on his back lately. I guess we'll see how it goes tonight.
  17. Which planets had to get lined up with each other in order for Sizemore to get on base?
  18. I agree with those who mentioned Eckersley. He's a sharp guy and he's got the charisma/personality.
  19. Hopefully someone who 1) can enunciate words properly (usually a prerequisite for professional TV and radio announcers) and 2) has at least a normal level of common sense and knowledge about the world we live in to be able to make small talk during slow periods (Jerry is an awfully nice guy and all, but he's such an ignorant dumbf*** that if you mention ordering pizza with chicken or pineapple on it, he'll think you're pulling his leg).
  20. Well now we're seeing just what it costs not to re-sign a guy like Ellsbury. It's not just money; it comes down to wins vs. losses when a player who makes a difference is involved.
  21. They can make a pitching change in the middle of an at-bat? I didn't know they could do that other than if there were an injury to the pitcher.
  22. Well look at where he's standing. He's closer to being behind the batter than behind the plate.
  23. Early in the season or not, and all other factors or non-factors notwithstanding... if the Red Sox had just one more win under their belt at this point, and the Yankees had just one less, both teams would have the same record right now. The Yankees fan should find something firmer to stand on before tooting his blowhole.
