  1. Confucius say if you do not score any run, then it not matter if your pitcher only give up one.
  2. When you don't score any runs. That's how.
  3. "There's a full moon here in Canada. Does that mean there's a full moon in the US too?"
  4. Or hook him up with one of these...
  5. Went out for a while and just got back. 5 innings later, still the same 8 runs lol. f***in' Red Sox.
  6. No pitcher on any team should ever be given the opportunity to give up eight runs, whether it be in one inning or across nine.
  7. They should just blow the foghorn every time porcello releases the ball.
  8. With four other teams who have a better record over the past 3 months, also with room to improve. How likely is it that all four of those teams are going to simultaneously flounder? It's time to start printing the "Maybe Next Year" t-shirts.
  9. Right or wrong or against club rules or whatever, there are bigger fish to fry than a dillydallying-while-taking-a-dump incident. It should not be headline news that consumes 2+ hours of pregame and postgame commentary on TV.
  10. So Pandoval got benched for passing time on social media while he went to the restroom to take a dump. Next thing you know they'll be running somebody up a flagpole for blowing bubbles with their dubble bubble gum. Heaven forbid that somebody should get caught singing or whistling.
  11. I hear the Blue Jays all got lasix injections so they won't get nosebleeds from running around the bases too much.
  12. Probably the most dramatic loss, but my vote for worst was that one a few nights ago when they managed to lose without even having allowed a single earned run.
  13. My dollar says that in tonight's press conferences Farrell will say something to the effect of "we'll start playing better starting tomorrow".
  14. Step number one would be to stop treating Holt like a side bitch. He deserves to be an everyday starter in a fixed position more than any 3 other players combined.
  15. This is baseball; "track record" means nothing. It's about what a player does and will do, not about what they have done in the past. Napoli has a great one of these "track record" of which you speak... but his batting average for the current season is .143.
  16. That's easy to say and easy to swallow if they have a slow week. They have sucked for the last three months; they will suck for the next three months and thereafter.
  17. Now the position players are getting a taste of the suck that the pitchers have had to wallow in all year. Karma is a bitch.
  18. Good for this kid. Let him have his day in the sun for as long as he's got things under control or until he says he's tired.
  19. Yeah. I'll never forget the "if that pitch wasn't a strike it would have been a ball".
  20. And somebody beats me to that, too. So evidently it's not just me who sees this phenomena lol.
  21. Ahhh just saw that somebody beat me to it. But it's not an Angels thang; these guys just have a weird complex about the Red Sox.
  22. These Fox announcers sure do get excited whenever any Red Sox opponent makes a play.
  23. I'll agree about Napoli. Patience is indeed a virtue and you've got to give slumping players their chance to shake it off, but letting a guy go 6-for-90 in 20 games adds a few notches to the "L" column. The sun has set on him; it is time for him to go home and watch the games on TV.
  24. Probably for the same reason that Lester and Lackey aren't.
