  1. Yeah, I figure there have to be a few loyal Yankee fans out there. You know, like umm..... geez, come back to me on that one.
  2. Ah, something tells me that only the loyal Yankee fans are going to post tonight. For instance: I'm doubting YANKEESRULE comes on.
  3. I'd still rather have Bill Mueller, he plays the game fairly.
  4. He'll appeal, Soxfan#1... no way Gonzalez will go out there and pitch a game in the Yankees series.
  5. Also sleeping on it, you begin thinking about it and you can't over react over one game, no matter how bad it is. Everyone needs to realize that there are three more games this series, it's not over.
  6. I know the guy lives in New York, likes the Rangers as well as the Knicks. Make sense?
  7. I guess I could have worded it better, I just looked down and saw a few of those names at the bottom and still feeling emotion from the game I said that. It probably should have been said: "yeszir, what is going on with the Yankee fans I see at the bottom and their offensive Sox user names, joining... is something going to be done?" I'm sure you know what that feeling as a Yankee fan of losing is like. Just try to imagine losing that game 7-2 at your place when David Wells was pitching for our guys earlier this year and your emotions after that loss, that's probably what I felt like after this game.
  8. Good job, yeszir. I commend you for being a great mod. :gives standing ovation:
  9. What the f*** is going on yeszir, please tell me you are banning these butt load of Yankee fans that feel the need to join all of a sudden, right? I'll make sure to send those two email addresses something, as well.
  10. That's not what Lou Pinella and Tampa Bay fans told me earlier this season.
  11. Nope, but if you want us to make you feel welcome, I'll glady start a thread about how the Knicks, New York Rangers, and the city of New York sucks, if you'd like.
  12. Not true, 'Are you kidding me?'.... far from the truth. Schilling's confidence wasn't shot down, and Schil is still more of a man than A-Rod will ever be.
  13. I knew Timlin was going to come in and give up that run, I think all of New England knew it. Can we just have have Embree pitch an inning then have Timlin pitch the next? Why does Timlin come on all the time with runners on, if he always let's them score.
  14. If you're reading this, 'GoYankees', f^ck you for starting another thread with the score on it before the game was over.... you suck, Yankees still suck.
  15. Who says Schil wouldn't struggle at first? You don't know that this won't turn out to be a great idea. You just worry about Big Unit Little Johnson, and we'll worry about our guys.
  16. Rogers isn't being charged with a felony... only a Class A Misdemeanor instead. Rogers and the cameraman settled on $250k. :thumbdown
  17. No use in taking shots at management because Schilling didn't do so well. It all went downhill when we had Bellhorn at the plate with one out and men on first and third and the guy strikes out. I don't remember what inning it was, 6th or 7th, I believe. But god damnit Bellhorn, I mean... our lineup at the end of the game was perfect as the game ended: Cora at second & Olerud at first. Do that every game, please.
  18. If it doesn't happen, I'm not going to slit my throat, but it's really important that we win this game. If we can take down the Yankees best pitcher in game one, that should be a boost of confidence to our club and I'd bet big money on it that we'd take the series if we take game one -- and yes, I know it's a four game series, I still think we take the series 3-1.
  19. It's being reported right now on the Ticket -- a sports radio station down here in San Antonio. No clue what he did, but that's what I was told. Just a rumor right now, but who knows.
  20. That's just like saying Manny has one less grand slam because that one over the right field wall in Philly shouldn't count.
  21. Friendly reminder for all Yankee fans who post here: "Swing, and a ground ball to second base, Pokey Reese has it he throws to first.... and the Red Sox have won the American League pennant! They mob Alan Embree on the mound. The Boston Red Sox have pulled the greatest victory in team history." http://cache.boston.com/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2004/10/21/1098334869_1515.jpg
  22. That's a pathetic compliment if he's trying to give one. For instance: "the way yeszir preforms his dominatrix acts with ARod2212 is so good, it's weird" is not giving credit to yeszir for his acts of greatness.
  23. While I'm here I might also mention, if it hasn't been yet that the Sox signed first round draft pick, Jacoby Ellsbury: http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050713&content_id=1130386&vkey=news_bos&fext=.jsp&c_id=bos
  24. I hope this hasn't been discussed yet. I just read that we have traded Jay Payton for submarine A's right hander, Chad Bradford who has pitched for four playoff teams and has a career 21-15 mark with a 3.47 ERA in 294 games. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20050713&content_id=1130290&vkey=news_bos&fext=.jsp&c_id=bos Other news: -Scott Cassidy sent back down to AAA Pawtucket -Schilling (obviously) activated off of DL -Kevin Youkilis optioned to AAA Pawtucket making room for Bradford -Schilling also expected to close tonight's game vs. New York, according to WEEI
