    Tough week defensively for Granderson. But what's lost there is that was a horrendous 1-2 pitch from AJ.

    One of the biggest stories this year has been the amount of winnable games they keep losing. Happens to every team, but it's happening to the Yankees at a very high rate thus far.

    Probably not, but in that area, I have faith in Cashman. He's not usually blinded by what players/coaches have done in the past.

    I don't expect it to happen, but I really really really hope that people in the Yankees' front office are at least discussing the possibility of Jeter as a part time player. Right now, Eduardo Nunez is better, and if he ever got the routine plays under control it might not even be close.

    I'm happy with that result ... expected the double play. If Jeter comes up with a runner on first and less than two outs, and only makes one out, it's a positive.

    Now we get wild Robertson. This was a really bad match-up for the Yankees going into the game, for a couple different reasons, but somehow they found a way to stay in it. Last inning is probably going to be the one they look back at tonight.

    Now there's the right time to get upset at guys for swinging at first pitches. Neither pitch was particularly good to hit, and Romero was really laboring.

    Ah Freddy, it's one thing to give up the HRs, that's gonna happen, but you have to make good pitches on pitchouts.
