  1. Haha yeah, I was only kidding. I expect to be mostly talking to myself. As for the defense, Granderson has actually struggled a bit lately, but overall he has been good. Gardner is just a tremendous defender in general, and he's off to an excellent start. That play will probably be there all year.
  2. It has been really unimpressive and unsustainable. Lot of walks, made possible by struggling pitchers. The fact is, few guys are hitting the ball solidly right now on a consistent basis.
  3. Phew, avoided what would have been a bad loss. Colon was good again (although, again, all FBs) and the bullpen was finally dominant. Not much offense, but hopefully that comes around soon, in a consistent way.
  4. A-Rod missing cookies. Ugh ugh ugh. EDIT: Well there's a break. Make it count.
  5. This is setting up to be an absolutely brutal loss. So many mistakes.
  6. Girardi is just about the worst manager ever.
  7. Terrible pitch selection. Completely idiotic. Classic Yankees pitch selection.
  8. And I miss early season A-Rod. He's an automatic out right now, and it's not for lack of hittable pitches.
  9. Well Posada's ball bouncing into the stands saved him a run. Nunez's awful base running saved him a run. Hard hit balls finding fielders have saved him a run. And he has just constantly missed his spots the entire night.
  10. Jeter is terrible and Verlander has gotten so damn lucky today. Should have given up five or six runs by now.
  11. So circulatory issues for Hughes. Back to the drawing board.
  12. Why pitch to Miggy?
  13. The league will catch up to Bart soon, if only because he only has one pitch.
  14. Two things. 1. Nunez needs to play over Jeter, although it'll never happen. 2. Nunez is stupid.
  15. Bart throws it right down the middle and it's called a ball. Cool.
  16. Haha yeah, I just think some things are so over the top and insane that it just has to be seen as sarcasm.
  17. I really don't see what's wrong with wishing major life problems upon people who did nothing wrong except not perform well in a baseball game.
  18. Got very lucky against McDonald, and wasn't close against Davis. He has settled down in the last few innings, but Joe needs to go to Robertson. If he doesn't Bautista hits as the tying run. EDIT: OK cool, thanks Joe.
  19. Joe will never do it, but I'd love to see Robertson in to take care of the bottom of the order here. Huge spot in the game. EDIT: But a nice job coming back from 3-0 vs Cooper.
  20. They both suck. I'd be the first to admit it. Nice try though lol.
  21. In that situation, with his speed, that's a good risk by Gardner. He's really playing his game lately. Oh, and a terrible play by Escobar.
