    There is probably only one guy in the A's lineup who Joe would feel comfortable bringing Myers in against knowing the A's won't pinch hit. Depending on the situation Myers may not really be too useful against this lineup. The time to use him was against the Twins with the two big lefties in the order.

    Somehow the Yankees have to find 8 outs. If this game is still 4-3 in the eighth I wouldn't be surprised if Joe tried to get more than 3 outs from Mo.

    Home plate seemed to shrink on 1-0 and 3-0. I'll take it. Have to really put up a big number this inning. Even though the A's don't hit a lot of HR's they're still a decent offensive club.
