This one was a bit different than most. Mo will blow a few one run saves when he just gives up a few hits, but this was just weird. Two outs and no one on, the bottom the A's order coming up. The Walker hit was just a bloop, but my problem with that is, especially early in the count, I'd just like Mo to stick with his cutter inside instead of trying to paint the outside corner. The Kendall one bothered me. Mo fell behind 3-1, but against someone like Kendall, even with a three ball count, I'm usually confident Mo won't walk him. He usually rears back and just throws gas down the middle. And then I'd much rather he throw a high fastball on that 0-2 pitch than try to paint the inside corner. I realize that something like this would probably not happen in middle of the season, when Mo starts to get more consistent work. This was just really shocking, especially the way it happened.
