  1. There really isn't that big a difference between Swisher, Hinske, and Hairston when it comes to outfield defense. Also, right field is so small in NYS that it becomes even less important.
  2. Gates open at five. I love the fact that he is playing Hairston based on twenty seven at bats. It should be Hinske.
  3. Matsui, at least in 2004 and 2005, was definitely worth it.
  4. Jeter Damon Teixeira Rodriguez Matsui Cano Hairston Cabrera Molina
  5. Oh, by no means am I saying those people are lying. You can believe them if you want, or choose not to. I just don't think calling someone out on the possibility of them lying does any good.
  6. Not the best day. I apologize. However, I do stand by the fact that it's stupid to question people's reality on the internet.
  7. Definitely a reasonable option.
  8. If Gom doesn't do it, what should the punishment be? I say public stoning. Any other ideas?
  9. Good for you! Have a real good time!
  10. Haha, well done. In all seriousness, to catch a ball hit that hard with no glove would be a difficult task for any of us. I don't think there is anything embarrassing about dropping it.
  11. Also, the fact that everyone bashes Minaya for running the Mets into the ground is laughable at best. 2003 Mets: 66-95 2004 Mets: 71-91 Minaya is hired as the General Manager... 2005 Mets: 83-79 2006 Mets: 97-65 2007 Mets: 88-74 2008 Mets: 89-73 2009 Mets: 70-92 They had a rough year this year, but they also suffered an extraordinary amount of injuries. Minaya, upon arriving in New York, instantly made them contenders. Phillips also deserves some credit for bringing it David Wright and Jose Reyes.
  12. I love how everyone thinks Phillips traded Kazmir.
  13. Not that it really matters, but Hughes didn't speak to reporters for the second time this postseason. He really has not been good. If the Yankees have a lead after seven innings in game two, game three, or both, they have to go straight to Rivera.
  14. Beat me to it. I was about to ask the same thing.
  15. Lol, I'm actually optimistic that they'll hit Pedro. However, if they don't, I would be shocked if they were able to win the series after falling behind 0-2.
  16. Been awhile since the Yankees have trailed.
  17. A few good swings against a tiring pitcher would hardly make me optimistic.
  18. Does that honestly make a difference?
  19. I was kidding. How the f*** are we supposed to know if Gom is still at the game?
  20. I don't know, why don't you look for him...
  21. Wow, Beckett's shut out... Easily the worst game I have ever been to.
  22. He agrees with you. He used Marte to face Utley and Howard in the 8th when the game was still in hand.
