    I remember one time some team IBB'd Bonds, which brought a run in. They could afford to do so, and they ended up winning the game because the IBB'd him. I found that to be pretty cool. Anyone remember any specific details about that game?

    Right, but it's a moot point because he does have that speed. As long as he has the speed, he'll survive playing CF. I'm not saying he's better defensively than Anderson, but saying he can't play CF because he relies only on speed isn't that great of an analysis. He makes the outs, that's all that matters. However, his speed can't help him on the more difficult plays (like the flyball in Seattle that he misjudged by about 5 feet at the wall). That's where good jumps help you. But he makes the routine play, and he can do it quite well, with the occasional diving catch. I must say, his arm sucks though.

    Yeah. I'm not one that goes crazy making accusations about players on 'roids, but players like Oliver Perez just seem blatantly obvious to me. One insanely good year, high velocity, the next thing you know MLB is "cracking down" on steroids and he starts to lose velocity, and suck, at a young age. Just seems too easy to catch.

    I'm assuming this was a general question because Jason Johnson was included in your post. Jason Johnson sucks, and Guiel has no place on a stacked team. Especially when the two teams that these players are on are the Red Sox and Yankees.

    I understand. I was called a buzzkill because I stated that I would not be surprised if something didn't happen. I'm disappointed that nothing happened, but I'm not getting my hopes up by thinking that something did and we'll hear about it later.

    Please, your SOLE purpose in coming here and saying that was to antagonize us. You could have worded the exact same thought in a different way and it wouldn't have been antagonizing. Notice how I never said you were wrong, I was just critical of how you delivered your message.

    The difference to our season! In all seriousness, if Bryan Corey is the only move we make, I'm quite disappointed. Our starting rotation has been a question for a few months now, and if nothing got done when Theo had 3 months to do something, it's a disappointment.
