I know you had your injuries, but at least you guys still played well enough to keep up with us. This is just starting to become a joke. When you drop 4 of your last 11 when you know you could have done so much better at the deadline it kind of gets to ya. EDIT: Especially when you just went 3-4 against teams like Cleveland and Tampa Bay in a 7 game stretch.

And one of his struggles is running out of gas. I wasn't expecting a Liriano, but he's obviously running out of gas. Look at his last few outings. I understand he has control issues, I understand he's a rookie, and because of these "rookie struggles" (which are, by the way, occurring in our #3 starter), Theo should have known that we needed a starter a little more urgently than he thought. I'm not hating on Lester, I'm using his struggles, and the role he plays in our rotation, as an example of the terrible situation that our rotation is in, and the dire need of another starter that we all know existed.

We're the same age, and the Yankees are winning. I think that's what he was getting at. There's no reason for a youth movement when the Yankees are just as "young" as we are, and because of this "youth movement" we aren't winning like we would like to. ESPECIALLY since the all star break. So basically what's happening is we're watching a team that's aged the same as us spank us when it comes to the trade deadline, and watch them take over first place and continue to win while we struggle to breathe.

Deion Branch deserves every penny he's asking for. The Patriots management is what needs to come around. They let Givens go because they couldn't decide on paying one of Branch/Givens. Well, now that Branch is the only one left, f***ing pay him. He's an absolute tank with Tom Brady throwing to him, and a Super Bowl MVP. What are they waiting for? Just pay the man. I really do believe the Pats will have a comeback year and I do believe they have a shot at the Super Bowl. That being said, I'm scared of Miami this year. I think Pats fans as a whole are being way too optimistic and cocky. Sure, we have the best coach to ever coach the game of football in Belichick, Tom Brady, and a healthier defense, and I really do believe that it's enough to fuel us to a comeback year and go deep into the post-season into the Super Bowl, but some people just believe that because we are the Patriots and because we have a dynasty means that we can win it every year. Wake up, and have someone smack you into reality. This Pats team is just not as strong as some people would like to believe in a sense that we've had much, much stronger teams during the past 5 years. Watch the Packers win the Super Bowl, and everyone who was laughing at Brett Favre when he made those comments eats a nice plate of crow

This team doesn't even deserve the playoffs anymore. We don't have a solidified 4th starter, no one right now is AT ALL a reliable reliever, and Ortiz and Manny are the only bats that are consistently getting the job done. s***** trade deadline, games are being won that we shouldn't even have won to begin with, and quite frankly we're lucky we're not at least 3 games back of New York at this point. It's like these guys don't even want to win anymore. And I really have no faith in Tito at all anymore. Yeah, he won a world series, but Theo won it more than Tito did
