    If nothing happened, I have a pretty sick feeling in my stomach. We desperately need a starter and we've known that for a long time now, and I'm not willing to waive the white flag every 5 days. I can't depend on Wells/Snyder/Wake/Gabbard to be the answers. Maybe we'll get someone off waivers, who knows. But it's been no secret for the past month or 2 that we desperately need another solid starter, and if Theo wasn't able to get ANYTHING done, what a disappointment. On the other hand, there could have been such a massive trade that it's not being released yet because there are too many details. The lineup for tonight has the starters because they just needed to post something, who knows how much it will change.

    Right. I was just explaining why I think WMP in the 5 spot puts us below the ChiSox trio. WMP's Ks are the reasons that Dye is a more solid 5 hitter than WMP in their respective lineups.

    Well, I only said that because I'm expecting lots of K's from WMP. I think Dye would be a more consistent hitter, but WMP would be more of a power threat.

    Amen. I can't stand watching him hit behind Manny. He just doesn't protect him well enough at all. If WMP shows the power and protection behind Manny, say hello to the next best 3-4-5 behind Thome-Konerko-Dye in Ortiz-Ramirez-WMP.
