    I think its too soon to tell whether he'll play next season. My gut thinks that he will play, because he is the type of guy who plays through anything, but I'm not a doctor and any type of stroke is much different than a broken bone, so I have no idea.

    That would be a heck of a World Series. Anyway here's my picks AL East Yankees AL Central Twins AL West Angels Wild Card Red Sox NL East Braves NL Central Cubs NL West Padres (The only division I'm not sure about) NL Wild Card Cardinals Red Sox over Angels Yanks over Twins Not going to pick the ALCS because it depends on the pitching. If the pitching is the current rosters of today, then I'd go with the Yanks, but since there is injuries, trades and other things, it is impossible to pick. Cubs over Braves Cards over Padres Cubs over Cardinals Red Sox/Yankees over Cubs

    Well I wouldn't go as far as saying Testaverde deserved it over Vick, but I do think he is overrated right now as a pure quarterback. If a team can shut him down in his running game like Philly did, and force him to pass the ball then Vick will be exposed. I do expect Vick to improve his passing game in the next couple of years and he will become an elite quarterback.

    I tried to get one of those Sox Packs and those didn't work, and then I tried again when the June-September games went on sale and I got zero as well. Now I've registered to be in a lottery in which they give fans an opportunity to purchase tickets for Yankees games, Patriots Day, Monster Seats etc., and I don't expect any luck there. Fortunately, I was able to get tickets for a 2 game series in Baltimore this April.

    I think he'll be ready for opening day because the timetable right now is that he won't be able to do baseball activity for about 4 weeks, and that would leave him about 1-2 weeks of exhibition games. I dont think it's too bad of a setback, if he only misses the 1st week or 2, as Youkilis can do an adequate job as a replacement.

    I think we can have game threads during televised games, because the point of a game thread is to talk during the game and you can't really talk about the game if you can't see it. If you don't want to have separate threads we can just create one game thread that will be used for all spring training games.
