  1. okay, bottom of the ninth...lets GGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  2. just was thinking the same thing.
  3. damon is a friggin mental patient, he is so damn hot.
  4. i have to say again Damon is unbelievable. What a stud. And by the way I want want ever millar is on tonight. PS: I dont want whatever Varitek and Bellhorn have been smoking. Varitek just looks downright horrible. But its a nice game and I am not going to be negative this feels too damn good fior any griping.
  5. johnny damon is absolutely on fire lately. I hope he never shaves again
  6. Huh? The fact that he keeps letting Lowe pitch and then leaves him to get clobbered when it obvious to everyone from Stevie Wonder on up that the guy doesnt have it. He never seesm to use his bullpen wisely, or take out our starters at the right time. He juggles the lineup all the time. What's with all this resting people. He sticks with guys for too long. I dont like him one bit. But we won 3 and I dont want to be cranky---
  7. I';m not sure, but it sounds like a typical kim outing to me. He certainly shouldnt be a part of any plans for the future, unless of course someone needs help reading a korean menu. Crespo apparently has set the international league ablaze, going 0 for 4 last nite against the mud hens.
  8. kim pitched a whopping 1 1/3 innnings gave up 2 hits 1 run 1 earned run walked one and struck out two. I might add our good friend Mr. Mendoza pitched 1 2/3 and gave up 5 hits!!!!!And a run and struck out 1. and took the loss
  9. damon is friggin on fire. I almost fainted when he hot his ankle with that foul. I dont care that he got nailed at second he's like 8 for 10 lately. 9-3!!!! goodn hustle gabe
  10. i think billy hitting again and back and healthy can be understated in its importace. thought this was a great story but too long to reprint check it out it talks about being a sox fan. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writ...tion/index.html
  11. I still must question all of this talk about first base when we have some signifcant gaping issues eleswhere. It's like polishing the brass on the Titanic while its sinking. Kent shemnt...we aint going to be playing in October, fella's, if we keep adding to our bullpen with fat stiffs like that doof from the Cubs, what's his name....(can you say suppan and sauerbeck and Todd Jones)... Plus, that windbag gammons has never been right about anything, until he sees it on the AP.. What does ben maller say?
  12. DO! DO ! DO! Ps: I hope manny gets in too?
  13. while I basically agree with everyone...personally I dont see what we gain with all this juggling. As if our defensive needs anything pulling it down. billy seems to be back in stride. Youk and belllhorn can help out here and there, but neither is really starting material. Ditto for Gabe. the set line-up projected at the beginnning of the year seems like the way to go. Bill, nomar, pokey and DO.... The love affair with Youk, just is unrealistic at this time. I'll take a health Mueller written in pen at third base. Bellhorn, the K king. Pokey at second. Do, mccarty and Tubby can share first...DHing along the way. I read about them loking for a steady first basemen..and finding time for the Youk's and bellhorn of the world, puh-leeze............PITCHING HELP thats what we need.
  14. in the spirit of finding some ways to tweak things wihtout blowing up the team. I was curious if anyone is thinking about this. Tek (sorry tekrules) has looked absolutely horrible in his say, last 20 at-bats. In turn Dougie has been pretty damn good lately. I say give dougie some time and let Tek take a break for awhile. Tek hasnt just been striking out. He has been downright awful. Thoughts?
  15. I agree completely with ya. we ceratinly dont need to blow up this squad. Last night proved thsat there is a lot to be hopeful about. Fatso even got a couple of RBI's.... I have been a LOUD (and yes, obnoxious) anti-Francona poster. I still think he needs to go, a couple of arms and we are ready to string togther a run, after the all-star break, preferably starting now. Everyone is back and ready to play, why the hell must he insit on getting at bats for Belhorn, Miller, et al. Pokey came here to play 2nd. Billy's back, and Ortizzle is our first baseman. I dont get the juggling now at leastg, b ut before I get worked up....yeah for last night and lets get 'em tonight.
  16. I hate to be cynical but I'd love to see him in some else's bullpen. I dont know enough about farm hands but isnt there a stud somewhere in the system to utilize in derek's place?
  17. among others I think Hasselman/Hatteberg/Stanley might have chipped in, as well.
  18. I swear Durazo is the foxwoods guy.
  19. keep doing whatever it is your doing!!! I keep busting on bellhorn, 44 rbi's that's pretty cool. I'm not going to juinx things tonight, but through 2----I'm happy as can be... Is pokey's paw a hurtin?
  20. BILLY>>>>BILLY>>>>BILLY
  21. I say Nomar only gets hits that dont count, and he looked awful, unispired and bored. I hate bellhorn, see above. Dear God, please let us win.
  22. huh? First base is where you think we need help? It would help to get rid of Millar there first base solved. Do all the way McCarty defensive replacement. Problem solved. Bellhorn good bye. He's awful had a couple of cluth hits early but those strike outs and the beautiful rally end DP's have to go. The bullpen needs help and we nned a manager who knows how to use them. Everybody or somebody is always resting. Torre uses his bullpen brilliantly. We keep getting these stiffs. why? Leskaniac..who was doof from the Cubs. And embree should pack...Williamson if he is healthy ant Timlin and Foulke and one other guy. I think Dave Wallace must be a problem. Because our guys collectively give up more runs early than any pitching staff I have ever seen. Plus, if you ask me Brandon and Lowe just aint doing it. But we keep sending them out there to be massacred. There is time, but there has to be a point soon when the things we are trying arent working. Clearly, I havent thrown in the stats you guys do, but hey, I live and die by the sox and these are my opinions. All I know, forgive my english is I WANT TO f***ING SEE SOME WINNING NOW!!!!!!
  23. I cant decide what's more annoying the foxwoods commercial or the car store spot? I hate games like this.
  24. Lowe wouldnt even get you a pile of a crack, is so lousy. That homo singer on the Foxwoods commercial would be a better pitcher!
