Yeah, I'd hang Bonds, because he's a dick, and he really thinks he's above the law. But McGwire's punishment is not being elected to the HOF, which is a good punishment.

What records does McGwire have? The single season HR? No that belongs to Bonds (who needs to be banned from baseball) If I had a vote, I wouldn't vote McGwire into the hall, but all I'm saying is, this guy saved baseball. If him and Sosa weren't around baseball would of been on strike back in 2002. He should be given some leeway in the media.

Pitino was the guy in charge, he made all the trades. I don't watch basketball a ton, but that's the general assumption. BTW, how many trades did Ainge make last year?

Hanley hit .389, in spring trainning, and turned a triple play. I guarentee you he'll rip up double and triple A pitching, and he'll be ready for '06.

Oh yeah, fans came back to see Timo Perez bunt. Why else did the fans come back? I don't know about you, but I watched everyone of McGwire's at bats, I watched every Cardinal game, I know a lot of people who started getting into baseball because of Mac. He cheated, and everyone knows it, but we don't know if he used them in '98, and remember he was great without the juice too. 49 HR's in his rookie year.

How can we critize McGwire, I don't give a s*** if he did take steriods, HE SAVED BASEBALL! There has never been a athelete were we stopped everything we did to watch him take an at bat.

Victor Santos was also a nice surprise last year (in the first half at least), but Ben Hendrickson could surprise people, after all he did go 11-2 with a 2.22 ERA last year in triple A. But after Sheets, Davis and Hendrickson (who can't be counted on for that much) I agree with you they have nothing. Justin Lehr might help, but they really have a piss poor bullpen. But never count out Dealin Doug, he did get Kolb, Davis, and Podsidnek from nowhere.

They won today, 6-5 J-Rod hit one out in the 9th of Colome. Hanley looks ready now, going 2-2 again. -
Call me crazy, but the Brewers might have a shot this year. (Not winning it all, competing) They got an improved offense behind Carlos Lee, a solid rotation with Sheets leading it, and a potential stud closer in Mike Adams. I see them being the '04 Guardians, they'll compete but fade down the end. BTW, did you realize the Crew were over .500 before the all star break? How about that?

He's got tremedous range, and great instincts for an OF. I don't want to see him ending up like Soriano at 2B (defensively) I think he'd be a tremendous defensive CF, but then again that's Moss' position. Too damn confusing
