I know you don't like JD Drew, but he is a massive upgrade over Trot Nixon. 2004 Drew EQA - .336 (.260 is considered average) 2004 Nixon EQA - .301 2004 Drew WARP2 - 9.8 2003 Nixon WARP2 - 6.5 (Nixon's best year) You also missed the Red Sox biggest splash, which was Matsuzaka.     Can't other races besides African-Americans celebrate Jackie Robinson? They benefited DIRECTLY from what MLB did. (Breaking the color barrier) I really don't care. If David Ortiz wants to don Jackie Robinson's jersey, he should be able to. You're saying Coco Crisp is proud to be an Dominican, because he is black? I don't get it. This point is completely irrelevant.

    I think it was Riverside who suggested that the Red Sox players did not like Wakefield, and were intentionally losing games to make Wakefield look bad. Riverside, then proceeded to get a hard-on when he saw Dustin Pedroia bunt, because it reminded him of David Eckstein.
