    Scott Brosius postseason BA /OBP / SLG: .245 / .278 / .418 Scott Brosius ALDS BA / OBP / SLG: .167 / .196 / .259 I don't understand why sportswriters, and YES Network Yankee fans, long for the days of Scott Brosius. He hit one homerun in the World Series, a series the Yankees would go on to LOSE. In that same series, he f***ed over the Yankees by not throwing out Jay Bell on an easy DP chance. He had a good 1998 WS, but the Padres weren't coming back from a 2-0 deficit anyway. (And that really is just one series) So, can anyone explain what the hell was so good about this guy?

    Horrendous strategy by Maddon , but he's saved by Vizcanio. Seriously, you've got a pitcher who's had two laser beams hit off him, and is having trouble throwing strikes, and you're going to give him an out? How f***ing stupid. The D-Rays deserve to lose.

    I could see where it's late in the game, but the Royals still have nine more outs, and against a fragile Red Sox middle relief. We needed to go for more than one run. It didn't work this time, but Francona made the right call allowing Lugo and Youkilis to take their cuts and get on for Ortiz. This strategy isn't new. It's what made the Red Sox offense the best in the game from 2003-2005.
