  1. Why? Please, coherently tell me why? And do not, under any circumstance use a baseball cliche.
  2. A great year? I'm going to call fluke. He walked 19 times in 2005. Why would anyone throw this guy a strike? If you look further at his stats, his OPS+, OBP, EQA, etc. it shows that he was above average. Not great. 2005 OPS+ - 112 (which is inflated, because OBP is probably 4X as valuable then SLG%) OBP - .311 (!) EQA - .286 FRAA - -10 What were you watching? He was f***ing atrocious in 2006. He OBP'd .295, had an OPS+ of 76, and EQA'd .248. I really hope that isn't the case. He better play his ass off, because he has NO future in Tampa Bay. Unless he learns what a strike is, of course. Someone please tell me why we should trade for Cantu???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Ya, Hughes sucks, cuz he had a bad 10 innings.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
  4. This is a lot funnier that it should have been.
  5. A-Rod.
  6. Why couldn't the Yankees trade that guy?
  7. Really? And why is that? I don't trust what ballplayers say. They often say what will either, please the media, or make their teammates look good. Another example of why catchers don't mean s*** to ERA. A.J. Pierzynski was massacred by the media for his lack of game calling skills when he was with the Giants. (see below) If that is true, that can someone please tell me, how the f*** the White Sox had a 3.61 pitching staff ERA in 2005? http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/CHW/2005.shtml

  9. I'd probably bunt in that situation.
  10. Drew gets down that line pretty good.

  12. You got it. Fenway's RF is also difficult to play in. Putting him in CF, where he covers less ground, and can read the ball better, makes him a better fielder.
  13.
