Fernando Cabrera and Javier Lopez are probably more likely to be called up. Kottaras will take one spot on Sept 1st, and one of those two will occupy the other one until Dice-K gets back. EDIT* Kottaras is already on the 40 man. I still don't see Adam Mills getting the call.

Good to see Altidore getting some playing time in the EPL. Chelsea destroyed Burnley, 3-0. No surprise. Liverpool had to come back on Bolton. 3-2. Man U and Arsenal are all squared at 0-0. Arsenal looks better than Man U.

Pujols/Mauer would be an interesting debate for the crown of MLB MVP, but Mauer will lose to Teixeira, proving how useless the BBWAA is.

Pretty sure that the Angels wouldn't be making a move for damaged goods, but even if he is hurt, a 50% chance that Kazmir returns to form is better than the garbage they're getting in return. I'll bet the Rays are losing some money.

The dollar will suffer from double digit inflation rates in four to five years time. By backloading the deal, you could essentially get Martinez for a massive bargain.

It makes his chances of success that much longer. I do like how he's swinging the bat right now, but let's remember that he's a much more polished player than most of the people he's playing against. Let's also see if he can sustain it with his .391 BABIP, and minimal power.

The fall off between the NL Central and NL East isn't as pronounced as you claim it is. Dunn does have old player skills, so it wouldn't be surprising to see his production fall off faster as he ages, but he has 80+ power, and an extremely good eye. I don't see this collapse of production happening if he moves to the AL. BTW, Dunn played in the NL Central for the majority of his career, and handled himself very well. -
