What a great measure of value. Some really useless players make the all-star team, because the fans vote for the players, and players on bad teams have to be picked. All-Star awards? Ruben Sierra drove in 100 runs in 1993, but managed to put up a sub .300 OBP. Is he still a good baseball player?

Thanks for proving my point. Despite his low number of RBI's, JD Drew is still a good offensive player. Joe Carter got lucky because his teammates got on base for him, and he had the opportunity to drive in runs batting in the middle of that order.
