    As long as he’s continued to be used on mop up situations only then I’m okay with that. If somehow the Sox can grab a decent reliever off waivers between now and September, and it’s a roster maneuvering situation, then maybe then cutting Seanez might make more sense.

    How about some WMP love today? He was billed as being dangerous on lefties and it was assumed he’d be platooned with Trot for those situations. But the damage he’s done against RHP is compelling enough IMO to give him more opportunities even when Trot does come back.

    Why not take a flyer with LaTroy Hawkins? Some relief in the pen from a veteran who’s got a fair track record in the AL could be the answer. I know he’s nothing special but if the cost is right, why not?
