    All I have to say is that pitching wins in October and Wake, though I love the lug, gave up 7 runs. Keep on bashing Millar all you want, but he had nothing to do with either today's loss or this year's second place finish. Had Schilling... Had Clement... Had Foulke... Had Embree... Had any of them been healthy and pitched to potential, like they did in 2004, Millar would not even be talked about. Like Tek not being talked about for his OBP or BA in September. Bashing players is gay and I'm proud of what the Sox did (and are doing). Seriously, people who bash a part-time 1b, Lf, Rf for all the team's pitching woes has absolutely no clue about what the game is about. No clue at all.

    Congratulations to the Yanks. They did play better than us down the road and earned it. 19 out of 23 (or something like that) in the end is impressive. Who'd have thunk Chicon/Small would be that good?

    Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. And that's when all hell breaks loose. I could see Wake even coming back on one day of rest to try and help. I am looking at this as a four game series with the Sox hopefully taking 2 this weekend. Here's how I break it down. Tonight could go either way. Both teams could tee off or be kept off ballance. They say Wells is a big game pitcher but he has a bum knee. Tomorrow will be interesting, both Wake and RJ have been lights out. Sunday will be a shootout. Both Moose and Schilling will get knocked around. Monday, if it comes to that, will probably also be a shootout as well. I haven't even given much thought to the wildcard, but I sure as hell don't want to play on Tuesday. No fights please and no dirty plays. I'm tired of that crap.

    Toronto just matches up with our pitching very well. I predicted the Sox would split, but one of the guys the Jays match up well against is Clement. Oh well, it was a nice run. Sox can only take 2 outa 3 at home against the Yanks, but I think (hope) all three will be intersting. Arroyo up for the playoff game in NY if the Sox sweep this weekend is not a great option. But yes, it's over if the Sox lose tomorrow night. To be honest, to watch all you Boo Bird *******s cry will be just funny enough to get me through it. And just to be clear, if, IF the Sox win the East, there is no way in Hell they win the WS again. Not enough pitching if you ask me. I just hope they bring Millar back just to piss Sarasox"fan" off.
