  1. all i got to say is :ortiz:
  2. Last place! Congrats!
  3. I thought you liked bones in your throat.
  4. That, my friend, is going to catch on. Nice little April win. Nice.
  5. Well, two things. They'd better be good friends because they'd be able to see/change your account info and get some personal/credit card info on you. They could also inadvertently purchase stuff on the site and it's automatically charged to your account. MLB.com restricts it to 5 browsers using the same username/password at once. I found this out last year when I was installing software on my new PC. I kept having to reboot after certain installs and kept forgetting to log out of MLB.com. After I had logged in 5 times without logging out it didn't let me get in anymore. I had to call MLB.com and have them reset my password.
  6. Haha. Can't remember your last name???? http://www.talksox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5238&highlight=Ryan

  8. YEAH IT'S ON NO MORE BLACKOUTS!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. You are right and I'll find out. But the Fox GOW games are at 12:55 and 3:55 now. Last year I couldn't watch the 1:05pm or 4:05 games (anything between 1 and 6 pm) and I can now watch the 12:55s sooo..... But you're right, we'll see in about 40 mins.
  10. So... MLB.tv works now on Saturday afternoons? Since Fox started showing the Saturday Game of the Week I've been unable to watch any MLB games online during Fox GOW broadcasts because of national blackouts. But I just did a check online and can watch games right now (cubs, white sox, mets). This must be new - and SWEET! I just assumed today I'd have to listen to the audio feed because it was Saturday but now I can actually watch the game!
  11. YES! Jeez, I'm taking Monday off for the Patriots Day game and now Tavarez is the pitcher??????? Way to kill a vacation day for me. ugh.
  12. Ahhh. This makes tonight's loss sooooo much easier to take.
  13. Yeah, Felix was unhittable tonight. Good start for Dice-K - any other night this is a win or close. The Sox are flat out lucky it wasn't a no-hitter - two hits that came close and one that was a hit? I am officially scared to death of King Felix.
  14. The one thing that floored me was that on his deep fly out to the triangle in the first inning and the home run ball, he only used a three quarter swing. He didn't follow through on either. Either he's got tremendous power or he's real good at getting the barrel on the ball. It was impressive.
  15. Well, their careers are over. Good.
  16. Oh come on. He's not this bad of a coach unless he's doing it on purpose to get the higher draft pick. He's a company man, doing what Danny and the rest tell him to do. Is he good? No. If he can land them the 1st or second pick, hell, I'd give him a cookie too.
  17. I forget, but what's the deal with the 3:55 starts on Saturdays again? Is it a Fox thing?
  18. Joe Morgan makes me want to kill bunnies on Easter.
  19. You really really can't judge a team after 5 games on the road. Things will look much better after a few games at Fenway. Trust me. Figures I have a meeting at work at the same time as first pitch on Tues. F'n figures...
  20. I was expecting Lester to return in June. Actually, I think it will work something like - we trade Snyder to a team that's reeaaaly desperate for starting pitching for some A ball catcher, Tavarez moves into long relief and they promote Lester if the Clemens thing falls through. Basically, I feel the Lester/Clemens timetables are about the same.
