  1. And mine had all kinds of great s*** to watch when you're drunk!
  2. Ok, it's been like a YEAR now. Where did the User Pages go? I get the same error every time I try them.
  3. 10 game lead. 10 game lead. 10 game lead. Say that 3 times and see how you feel.
  4. As bad as this week was injury-wise, the Yanks have lost 3 games on us in the standings since Saturday. Amazin'
  5. Guts and balls effort from Schill tonight. I'm actually really impressed Tito didn't take him out mid-inning. Now lets win this.
  6. Haha. Yeah. I'm up for it. The only reason I started the one last year was because (like this year) it was Red Sox/Braves. I've got all kinds of bets going on so I'm amped over the series living here in Atlanta.
  7. Look on the bright side ANiMAL, it greatly increases your shot to start the game thread tomorrow.
  8. Ugh.. Well, if they DL him that would leave his next 3 starts vs Atlanta, NY and Cleveland in the hands of a scrub.
  9. Yanks 9th: Giamroid K'd. Sushi doubled. Pussada K'd. Menky K'd. Eat it. 8
  10. Lugo just said on RKO that Beckett's blister was "bad". amazing win though.
  11. Why did it take so long for this thread to finally go in the shitter?
  12. So now the Sox are tied for most runs scored in MLB and only Oakland (by 4 runs) has given up fewer in all of MLB. Niiiiiice.
  13. s***. Just saw that the Yanks lost today. Woohoo! Woohoo! Woohoo!
  14. Rip him to shreds! SHREDS! This is unbelievable. I almost feel bad for Doc.
  15. I just like how this is added to almost every AP story involving a player who played in Boston in 2004.
  16. Ok... So Lester is predicted to be a young Andy Pettitte. We won't know unless we find out. Would you rather have a young Pettitte today or an old Clemens? A lefty to have in the rotation or another old righty? As a matter of fact, the oldest right you could get?
  17. I don't think the Guardians are going away. But if they do, that would be one hellova pickup for the Yanks. Like Hughs and a pile of cash would basically put them over the top in SP in the east. I think this years trade deadline will be crazy.
  18. Dude, he is a Hall of Famer. But he's not even an All Star anymore. But so long as you'd blow him, I guess that's fine.
  19. Just two things.. First, I didn't want Clemens back because he would have been the third 40+ starter on the Sox. That is not good. And of the three, he would have given you the shortest outings of all of them. Second, I am convinced to some degree that Clemens would be lit up like a roman candle against the Yankees lineup. So I'm fine with Tavarez/Lester. Does it help the Yanks, sure. But so would a Tavarez or Lester to them. Plus their bullpen is not getting any better any time soon. It's still almost a month till Roger even pitches and the Yanks have nothing at the #5 spot and not much more in the #4 spot right now. Hell, they could be 10 games out by the time he returns. So I'm not concerned, and actually optimistic that Lester will be a rather large part of this whole story - in a great way.
  20. I'm glad. I didn't want Rocket. Good for him. 6.5 million/month is pretty sweet.
