  1. @Jasonbay44 and @mvp 78, I recommend starting a new thread and posting it in the Red Sox forum to attract the most eyeballs. Later we can move it to another forum once people have seen it and joined.
  2. I really need to find better things to do with my time. https://talksox.com/your-daily-dick-pic/
  3. I doubt even Edwin Jackson can name all the teams Edwin Jackson played for.
  4. This is a game we play on the other sites and I wanted to bring it over here. Guess the player, the unobscured image will be released in three days or so.
  5. I moved the game thread to the Sox forum so more people will participate. There's a redirect link in the game thread forum so everyone can find where the thread has been moved.
  6. I agree that baseball today is less fun to watch than it was 40 years ago. But technology or not, the pursuit of optimization is going to happen. Technology just accelerates that pursuit. The onus falls onto MLB to be the steward of the sport and change rules as front offices "optimize" the sport in unhealthy ways. And until very recently, MLB hadn't done a damned thing to slow down the rapidly-accelerating use of technology to homogenize the game. And that's on them.
  7. Oh, I'm 100% okay with others starting game threads, I truly do not need to do it. My only real concern is the following: 1. They be started in the Red Sox forum 2. They be started as early in the day as possible As for the rest of it, I'm open to whatever people like/want.
  8. Looks like the Fenway Sports Group AI bot finally found the forum. 😂
  9. To me, this is the biggest reason why if you think a top prospect is anywhere close to ready, you put him on the OD roster. I'm surprised by how many teams ignore these new incentives.
  10. I generally feel aggressive promotions are a good thing. But I'm just not sure about Campbell. He's just so... weird... and runs such high BABIPs that I think I want to see more of him in AAA, facing annoying 28-year-olds who pitch more than throw. On the other hand, it's far more interesting if he's on the OD roster.
  11. Oh yeah, I'm of the opinion that the Sox should at least consider playing Bregman at second base. If Raffy wasn't so bad at third, Bregman at second would be an easy decision.
  12. The infield situation is only messy until Trevor Story loses a leg in a freak golf cart accident some time in mid-March.
  13. In a shocking turn of events literally no one saw coming, your Opening Day third baseman is
  14. Yeah, everybody took the last few months to get their feet under themselves and develop a style. As the season progresses, I think we'll maintain a more regular schedule.
  15. It's not a Bregman thread, it's a podcast that talks about recent Sox news, including Bregman. Lots of topics are discussed on the pod.
