That’s a ridiculous price to pay for CJ Abram’s. 
don’t need him if it costs us that. Delzine and Valera? I’d rather trade them for a RH starter or a different bat. Abram’s bat will be ok in Fenway if his breakout year was for real, but not for that price. Two RH pitching names I’d be interested in are David Bednar for the back of the pen and Casey Mize for the 5th spot. 

personally, I keep both young RHP prospects. We don’t have any of them with as much promise. I’d let them develop for another year and if you trade them they’ll be worth more. Valera is returning from TJS and Delzine looks like he could be a special pitcher. 
I agree to trade story and Yoshida but I’d add a prospect so I don’t have to send that much cash, but the idea is right on. Eat cash, add prospects to get them off this roster. we have redundant positions in the minors. We should look to add them to any deal involving those two.

Mize can’t stay healthy.  Talented but fragile.  Bednar is overrated and replaceable..

Mize gets at least one injury per year and has Ranger Suarez durability.

With you on the RHSP and bullpen.  I like Rhode Island native Michael King from this FA class, as well as LHRP Adrian Morejon.  Morejon does figure to be popular, however.

My dark horse would be Brady Singer converted to a RP.  Probably against his will…

Also it makes sense to hold Story and use him to buffer Arias.  Story will either produce or maim himself trying, so he’s the ideal option.

Just DFA Yoshida.  f*** trying to save some nickels.  If you cannot pay your free agents at the end of their deals, you have no business signing them…
