So Bennett,  like so many Sox starters was not really ready for the 1st inning and hot hit hard, BUT

by 2nd, 3rd he was loose and became effective. 

Any chance , to save young arms, that Bailey is shortening starter warmup and prep.

Yesterday I pulled a 1B mitt out of my closet , given direct to me by Pete Runnels , and a bat from Nellie Fox, when both were on the Houston  Colt .45s in 1964.
