They wouldn't have Kyle Harrison without trading Devers. Now the argument is just picking and choosing which deals you do and do not like.

no sir....we knew we had some good prospects and could have kept them and signed Fried, but hellf***ingno, gotta save Henry's money. this team is a gotdamn trainwreck from top to bottom and it will take years to clean up this steaming pile of s***.

Breslow is the one determining that the everyone in the org has to pull the ball in the air. That's not Driveline. Driveline is just following orders. Breslow and his spreadsheets are why Durbin couldn't buy a hit earlier in the year.

I don't think they knew they had good prospects. I think they are struggling to evaluate when the cream is really rising to the top.
