What's that song?  "I lost my swing in Cincinnati."   1/9 in his last 2 games, both of them very close.

What's fascinating about Anthony's last at bat is that they pitched to him, righty vs lefty, when righty bat Story was in the on deck circle.  He struck out twice yesterday and twice today.

Wong, meanwhile, has a double and a single today.

Meh. That's on Weissert not the manager.

It’s on both. Weissert threw almost 30 pitches yesterday and sucked, bringing him in to face the middle of the Reds order wasn’t the best decision.

I'll buy that

Gotta like Durbin's bat. Who needs Bregman?  Or for that matter, what's his name.   Devers.

Durbin stinks.

Caleb Durbin has been absolutely horrible this weekend

He’s just not that good. Very average.

If Durbin is average, MLB is no long watchable.  He also has an error, so after 3 games more errors than hits.

Pitch counts are the worst thing that ever happened to baseball. If this was the 70's, Early would have stayed in the game and the Red Sox would be victorious today

I didn’t like the signing. They should have spent money on a better hitter-like E Suarez

Oh stop it.  This was his first start of the season and he threw 96 pitches.  Weissert went in to pitch to righty hitters, walked one, and gave up a 3 run dinger to the next one.

Thanks for recapping the horror I already knew. If this was years ago Early would have finished the inning. Teams never lost games in the old days the way the Sox lost today. The height of stupidity just like all the analytics are.

It was over when I called it-right after Suarez’ hr.

Sox had their opportunities after the dinger.  Abreu's hot and no one else is.  OPS's are Anthony .746, Story .438, Duran .629, Contreras .540, Durbin .077, Yoshida .600, Mayer .889 (which is actually good), and Rafaela .600.

Pitching was pretty good in games 1 and 3.

Michigan just pulverized Tennessee 95-63.
